Will I need petitioner info at interview?

Hi, the packet 4 indicates that I need to provide info for the applicant (me). It does not indicate to provide any further documentation on the petitioner.

However I have just read a few threads here from people shocked and amazed that they were issued pending denials if they could not provide originals of the documents. I wasn't even going to bring copies of the petitioners info, only mine!

Will I need to bring ORIGINALS of birth certificate, divorce decree, etc, from the petitioner??

Is there a concise list somewhere of what info is exactly needed, including from me and from the petitioner that isn't simply a packet 4 example?

They (Embassy) usually say that they do not generally look at documents, nor do they require you to present any to them, however, since the whole process is really their game, and their rules, you just have to be ready for whatever you think paperwork would best help your specific case, if need be that the CO asks for them. Originals of certain documents would certainly help, also since each embassy has their own "unique characteristic" I would also check on forums specific to Canada just to see what documents may be pertinent to aid your case... best of luck! :)

If you have access to those originals I would just bring them so you have no fear of loose ends

I would bring everything you have including documents. Although it may clearly state that you must bring originals of your documents, they can ask anything else, so it's always better to have it. Good luck!
