thanks for the response

I know another couple who filed in July, from San Francisco, and they are still waiting. On the field office processing times it now says 12-17 months. Good luck!

Had our interview today at the federal plaza in ny.

We got there 30 minutes before it was scheduled and went up straight to the 9th floor.

from there they redirected us to the 4th.

when the girl called us she apologized saying she needed to go out for a lunch real quick but to be back in 40 minutes.

we went to the caffeteria and 40 minutes later went back to the waiting room.

then she called us joking saying everything is better after eating LOL.

she started asking us to make three piles with the types of docs we brought.

then asked us to sign a waver because our lawyer wasnt present.

sworn us in and started asking how we met.

i answered but i was shaking first because i was kinda anxious and second i was starving.

she made a joke asking if i was ok and to proceed.

Asked us if i met his family, when, name of mom and dad, what made us get married, why move from orlando ( where we actually met ) to ny, if we went to brazil.

Where he works, doing what, where i work doing what, since when...

our address, if i teach him portuguese and for him to pronounce...

and that was it.

by the end she said she will make a decision by the end of the day.

i asked her if i should apply for a renewal for ead cause it expires in september and the company i work for is asking for a new.

she said she will do her best to finish the case today and i will get something in the mail in at least two weeks.

she also kept a few pictures, boarding passes...

It took like, 30 minutes.

after an hour already at home I got the message saying my card has been sent to production. YAAAS!

it is really ok the interview and if you are on a legit relationship there is nothing to worry about.

Good luck you all and have faith that everything will be fine in the end!

My status changed again. Now I do have a tracking number and it also appears in my informed delivery dashboard. The GC is coming from: USCIS-CORBIN PRODUCTION FACILITY

CORBIN ,KY

What did your status changed to? Is it that they mailed the card? Are you seeing the tracking no only on your informed delivery or on USCIS website as well (if on their website, which of them, myaccount or uscis login

Congratulations. It’s delivered in a USPS envelope but it doesn’t need to be signed for like an express envelope. The last case update you will get will say it was delivered to you and it provides a tracking number. I believe when status update changes to “card mailed” it will also provide the tracking number.

Thank you! I was notified of the tracking number yesterday. It will be delivered tomorrow. I am so excited! thank you for your reply:)

I was sent three notifications after my interview. First notification was that "New Card is being produced." I also received two mails that had the same content - that I was approved of my AOS application. Second notification advised that the card has been shipped. The third notification advised me of the tracking number. I didn't have to login to my USCIS account for this. I just did a simple case look up in the USCIS website.

Congratulations! We asked a similar question. He told us that we would have to return our EAD card when they send us the green card. That there would be an envelope to return it. However all we got in the mail was a green card. Strange.

It’s saying now “card was mailed to me”. What other status will it show before I can see the tracking no. Is there any other status after card  was mailed to me?
