pleaseeeee guys bare with me! we live in egypt, and my dad and step mom in the US applied for me and my 2 sisters for immigrant visa at 23-sep-2014 and she knows about visas so her and my dad decided that she'll be the agent of the cases, everything went will after 2 years and we went to the interview on 23-mar-2016, we brought everything we knew were asked for, unluckily we didn't bring proof or relationship :(:(:( but we don't know because we knew little and were so nervous! so at the end of the interview we were given a paper asking to send proof of relationship and the father's green card, so we send the following after a week from the interview (mirrage certificate- confirmation from citizen bank- confirmation for appartment owner - 3 pictures) and from that day forward until 23-mar-2017 then sent back the passports and our cases status showed expiring soon! through that year we emailed the consular at consularcairoiv@state.gov but no reply and called too many times at the embassy's hot line asking about the cases they never gave an answer and always said that it's the immigrant department business and that they have no number and we can only contact thought the email provided which they don't reply! and then we finally found another email cairoiv@state,gov we emailed saying what happened and why our cases are going to expire soon? it looks like a bot that's answering saying that we were informed to sent further proof but we didn't so that's why our cases are going to expire soon! we quickly sent taxes of 2014/5/6, heard that it's the strongest proof, and they do live together for three years in the same apartment now our cases went to admin process and we don't know how much time is it still going to take and we all lost hope because we can barely eat and education is very bad and all the prices went up by X4, we can barely live, and dad is very old and he's sick and his dream is to see us with him in US!

and our cases and are linked to my step  mom's E-mail plus she is also the agent! and she always busy and she gets like 3000 emails a day and we don't know if that when they need anyhting do they contact via email provided which is hers or by letter because all that happened cuz we didn't cause no one called and we don't know if anything went to her email! we are just so frustrated and very sad, that we didn't hire an attorney and it was better of from the beginning, and on top of all of that yesterday my dad found an opened letter from the consulate saying that our cases are going to expire soon and the letter was written at 27-mar-2017, and was sent on 5-jun-2017 that's 2 month afterbeing written AND it was sent to a wrong apartment! dad lives at apartment 15 and it was sent to apartment 18! everything is just going against us! so can anyone please tell me in the name of everything you love, can i file for another interview and this time we'll go with the passports and all the proof we can ever provide and maybe the visa well be approves, and can we put an attorney on the case and well he sort everything, if so pleeeaaasaeeee suggest any good and not so expensive attorney in boston so my dad can get an appointment with him, and thank you for reading and if theres any thing you can advise me with please DO. we are really dying :( and our visa class is : IR2

I would suggest to make an appointment at the US embassy in Cairo regarding your case immediately.  Take a necessary documents to your appointment at the US Embassy.

In a similar case, people have contacted their local congressman to figure things out,  Have your father contact local congressman;/senator that represents that area.

OR

In the mean time you father can refer to immigration attorney to figure any other steps to keep your case open and eventually help you get through.
