There’s the political lens, of course, and that is a lens about which I have limited confidence in my own analytical prowess. Trump’s popularity is declining right now, at an all-time low of 38.2 percent according to FiveThirtyEight’s weighted polling average. This sounds really bad, but it’s actually consistent with Bill Clinton’s polling levels at the same time in his presidency—and Clinton went on to comfortable reelection. 

 

That sums up Trump's contempt for his office and the American people.

I think it was poor from Comey to get caught up in the anonymous sources by giving info of his memo's to a buddy.

 

Even though he was tracking all these "suspicious" conversations with Trump he still said he would have kept his job to this day and said nothing. He needed to grow a pair and report the President if he felt there was any wrong doing. Clearly he was doing a little damage recovery for himself today, remains to be seen how that goes.

He is a business man come reality tv star not an actor so if anyone expected him to act Presidential they got a rude awakening.

 

Trump has carried on being himself since he entered the White House which is what his supporters wanted, it just goes against the grain for those that prefer a more rigid personality.

Oh, yes. There is a certain degree of retribution in what he's doing, favored by the fact he has documents about his interactions with Trump. This may be his revenge, but it's not an empty one. 

 

You can say that as a result of him being fired he did grow a pair and is coming public about Trump's malfeasances. 

 

His motives are not as important as the information he has. This is only the beginning. Watergate took years to fully unravel.

I don't think it's a matter of a more rigid personality. He should carry himself with dignity, and stop making a fool of himself, and the country by extension. He has become a national embarrassment, and damaging our relationship and influence around the world. You're right - a politician he is not, and he was unprepared to the Oval. The problem is that he's not even trying. He's feeding his alternate facts to a part of his constituents who are just to dumbfounded to admit they made a huge mistake, and they are doubling down, at the expense of the country. 

 

Trump is in it for himself and his family of grifters. They are using the WH as their corporate headquarters, and doing so while laughing at their own base.

The only people that are embarrassed by him are those that didn't vote for him, his core voters are getting exactly what they wanted.
