Called NVC yesterday. They have received our extra docs but do not have new scan date for us yet. I was told it could take up to 11 weeks for review and said oh but there is no new scan date??? Also asked if we were still in line for a supervisor review. Yes but that could take up to 6 weeks. We are 2 weeks in so far for this checklist.  Good luck to the rest of the June class of 2017. Wish I could have graduated with you all!!

Hi, I had not heard anything till this morning. So I decided to call them today to confirm. Because I requested to change my embassy through e-mail it seems like they created another cover sheet to me. I dont know if anyone else have gone through it. I am so annoyed, maybe I shouldnt have asked to change it. I dont know. They said my new scan date is 08/30/17. Which is even more annoying is that they have not sent any e-mail saying anything. They could at least have checked my documents to see if they needed anything else. PS: I have sent the first e-mail  to change it 06/21/17. After 6 weeks I called and they said that probably my e-mail got lost. So I sent another one and now this.

No. His income was 500$ less than provrty guideline's income. Then we show his bank balance (loan from bank). I think thats why they ask me  for joint sponsership. Now i wanna know about how much time it will take to approve visa??

My husband was denied at his interview today. I can see no reason based on the questions they asked him and his answers and of course they don't have to give a reason...

We are beyond disappointed. Feeling hopeless but thought I'd reach out in case anyone has any ideas. My understanding is we have no option but to start from scratch and reapply. So angry, frustrated, confused and of course, deeply sad.

No. There is no information whatsoever given. It is just a generic form response.

"After reviewing all documents and information presented, you have been found ineligible to receive a visa. mind you, we had all of our documents and there could be no reason other than they don't believe that its a bonafide relationship. By the way, we lived together for 6 months in his home country.

It is devastating. You will get a letter from the service center which will explain why your case was denied. Than you could appeal after you know why you were denied.

Actually, that's not true. We went through this with the fiancé visa and they say they will send you a letter and we never got one. I eventually contacted the US consulate and they told me more than 5 months after the fact that the reason was "not a bonafide relationship." I have no reason to suspect that his will be any different.
