You certainly can take more evidence to the interview but whether it will be looked at is another matter.

I would avoid any reference to wedding ceremony in June 2017. You are legally married and that's all that counts for immigration purposes. You may confuse the issue as to whether you were married or not when you filed the petition. The ceremony you are having is purely for personal reasons, not legal reasons. Immigration do not require a big celebration. They require a bona fide legal marriage. We had an 8-minute ceremony with just 2 witnesses. Perfectly acceptable. Focus on evidence that the marriage is bona fide, not how much of a party you are having in June. Anyone can throw a party.

Timeline in brief:

@JFH well reasons why were having a wedding now is because of her religion i was a non-catholic at the time we got married and when i came back to the usa i took Rcia classes beasically classes teach you to become a catholic. on easter i got my sacraments so that when me and my wife marry we both can get the sacraments of matrimony. it's really big in the catholic tradition to get sacraments that's why i went to catholic classes. i also have documents from my church that show this and my priest signed marriage papers between us. i know we legally married but i want to be sure at her interview that more evidence will benefit her.

In Vietnam culture, at Dam Cuoi both side of bride and broom must be presenting. Did your parents go to Vietnam and attend the wedding?. That one of the important things in Vietnam culture. Last year, my mom arrange a few weeks off work to fly back to Vietnam for the weeding because she know how important it is.

@H&T My Wedding is upcoming and for reasons my family could not attend but i will attend her interview at the Hcmc. I've gotten conflicted reports about whether or not both sides of the family are to be there. it's a hardship for my family to go so it'll just be me.

you attend her interview will be a plus. My spouse told me not attend the interview because we know each other for about 15 years( we know each other when still in middle school in Vietnam), and we have a bunch of pictures from 10 years ago, but i still attend the interview just for a peace of mind.

Based on what I know, as long as you attend at the interview, that will be considered as BIG evidence. If you have more important evidences that can help your case, you can ask them to take a look.

I attended the interview in HCMC and I'm convinced that my additional info helped us get the visa. I brought additional tax info that was not included in the original paperwork. After my wife was interviewed, they asked me a few questions. I needed to explain some confusing financial info and I gave them some papers that I brought to the interview. It cleared up the confusion and we got the visa. So yes, take anything and everything, regardless if it was included or not. Kudos to you for going to the interview. It's an interesting event, to say the least! It seems that very few American men go to the interview. You'll see more than one girl cry - there are plenty of denials (but most just need additional info). At the interview, be relaxed and look happy. I've never heard of a flat-out denial when the American is at the interview. Good luck!!!!
