Hi everybody,

I love Vermont Service Center. We got our NOA 2 last Thursday in less than 6 weeks. Good luck to you all that you's will not take that much longer.

I am so happy. :D

Does anybody know, what comes next. What do I have to prepare?

02/23/2006 - sent I 129 to VSC (first step done!) 07/13/2006 - received Visa!
09/22/2006 - civil marriage in New York City
10/05/2006 - sent AOS papers to VSC
12/11/2006 - Welcome Letter and GREEN CARD in Mail!!!!!! Lets' party!!!!!
09/24/2008 - sent Removal of conditions package to VSC
07/02/2009 - received 10 year Green Card! YEAH!!!!! Finally!
2014 - Citizenship

The next step will be getting packet 3, which will contain the checklist and some forms to fill out. You will need a medical and police certificate so I would go ahead and get those arranged. The checklist wil outline exactly what you need. Also, read the guides section for the step by step process of a K-1. It tells what comes next once you get your NOA2. Best wishes and congratulations on your NOA2!!! :D

Hi Ilka,

congrats on your NoA 2!!!

Vermont IS fast.

Make sure he sends you the Letter from his Employer,the Tax stuff,Bank Statements,Pay Stubs,updated Letter of Intent,proof of ongoing relationship (such as phonebills,e mails,letters......),get an appointment for your Medical,get your Police record and your Birth Certificate,-I think that's it.

Hey everyone!

Congrats on your NOA2 Milka! I really envy you cause the processing date on Nebraska is still December 21 so I guess for us this means another 3-4 months just for that... hope they speed up!

ok so my question is regarding the DS156K requirement for proof of engagement. What is that? I mean is that the same as proof of relationship or is an engagement ring or some kind of ceremony required at this point?

First of all congratulations on your approval!!! :dance::dance:

Now your guys need to get ready with the rest of things....for the petitioner is all the docs necessary for the affidavit of support, taxes, bank letter and few statements, employer letter, pay stubs, any docs pertaining to additional assets and such...also all the originals of evidence submitted and any additional evidence that you have generated since the submission of the petition...all these docs must be then forwarded to the beneficiary who will bring them for the interview...at the end of the beneficiary...police certificate and birth certificate - originals...well after the no2 the petition will be forwarded to NVC and from there to Germany from where you will be informed on the next step ...but try to get all things ready so you will not go crazy as I did...good luck

I am in the process to finalize everything and book the airline ticket one way to Miami baby

Fiance arriving on 08-22-06 From HAV,CUBA ....

Fiance arrive at Mia on 08/22/06 1230pm eastern

Mailed off AOS, EAD on 09/27/2006

package delivered at 5:21 am on September 29, 2006 in chicago,IL lock box

10/25/06 apply for SSN /she should be getting one in two weeks

11/01/06 receive email status from uscis Work auth is in the mail

Received NOA1 notices for AOS, EAD on 10/10/2006

Biometrics appointment on 10/21/2006 in hialeah Gardens,Fl

10/25/06 apply for SSN / should be getting SSN in two weeks
