Bringing drawings to the AOS interview - silly idea?

My husband and I don't have many photos together and have compiled ~ 20, taken during different occasions, for our interview in early June. We take a lot of photos but mostly of places and things. We camp and hike a lot, so there aren't always people around to take photos of us. We also have individual photos taken by each other, but again, not together. I know, I know, we could have taken selfies. We (unreasonably) associate them with vain teenagers and are just too proud to take any. :P

We make little things for each other. For example, he made me a chair and a wooden letter opener. I doodle cartoons, often of pretend vacations because we haven't traveled in almost a year after he got into an accident (legal hassles ensued). He works long hours, so I text him drawings time to time because that brightens his day.

I know this might be silly but I was thinking of bringing photos of things my husband has made me alongside my drawings. I was also thinking of bringing the letter opener to the interview. These little things demonstrate our love for each other, even though they can't prove cohabitation and might have been faked. After all, a chair is a chair and could have been acquired anywhere. We could have bought the letter opener from a store. And so on.

If this is a silly and unnecessary idea, we'll go with the photos and possibly some correspondence. We were in a long distance relationship for a year after college and mainly talked on the phone. We don't have many emails or letters. Or even Skype screenshots. He dislikes Skype because you can't really make eye-contact, "so what's the point? We might as well talk on the phone!"

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you have joint bank accounts, joint health insurance, are both of your names on the leasing contract and on the car insurance? Provide what you can.

Those things are way more important than pictures.

Yes we do! We thought the pictures would be a nice touch/helpful since we've been in a long distance relationship almost as long as we've cohabited.

No phone logs, skype or emails needed unless you lived apart when your husband or wife came to the US (sorry don't know who the
USC is ).

Leave the letter opener at home, they do not care about that. Drawings optional like greeting cards for special occasions.

20 photos is fine, if asked for more of you together then explain why you do not take photos together.
What evidence do you have of co habitation and financial co mingling or ownership, joint bank accounts, credit cards,

health insurance, car title, car insurance, loans, 401K, wills, power of attorney, living wills  ? Dig deeper.

Read over the list in the ROC guide and see what you have you may not be thinking about and take a few things from it

your AOS  interview.
Then start collecting for ROC in 2 years because they will be very strict about you showing sufficient evidence of a co mingled

life. Too many people don't stay a step ahead of the next process phase and then are empty handed. Plan ahead.
For ROC they want to see evidence from conception of marriage, especially financial things.

We've been together since we got married last July. I'm the beneficiary and my husband is the US citizen.

Here's the "concrete" evidence we have besides photos:

  1. Joint checking account (we haven't started saving yet), apartment lease, utilities
  2. I'm on my husband's employer-provided benefits (health insurance and life insurance)
  3. Joint 2016 tax transcripts (married but filed separately. We got too lazy to sort it all out together since my taxes are much simpler. We'll file them together for 2017)
  4. Medical power of attorney (just on my side; my husband thinks he'll live forever :P)
  5. Joint charity donations

We have other things like affidavits from friends and photos and receipts (hotels, planes) from when we lived apart.

Married to US Citizen. I'm the beneficiary.
