Sister in law had a scan date of April 18.

We called Monday and was told her case is still not in review yet.

Checked ceac website today at 3 p.m. and it said "Submit documents."

Checked again now (5 p.m) and it says "At NVC," and the AOS has disseapeared.

We called NVC and it's confirmed that she has a case complete.

This is not my case and for that reason I didn't add this to the timeline but I thought this would be valuable for those waiting.

awesome!! great to know. thank you for sharing. :) congrats to your sis n law. :)

Hello..  It's been at least 8 weeks since your scan date. Sometimes cases get CC's within 8 weeks but the average is trending at about 9 weeks.

Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

See Example

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review.  (suggest doing this at 9 weeks)

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • When you receive a CC or if your case is under review.
  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.
    • "June 15 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes).

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

I just received an email with a checklist item :(

On the cover letter it says: Send photocopies of your civil documents (e.g., birth certificate). Send an original, signed Form I-864 Affidavit of Support(s).

Then in the instruction sheet it only talks about a police certificate from Germany! Do I also send Form I-864 again?

Hello..  Any updates? Still in review?

Sure seems like it. Called today (yesterday US time) and was given the standard "We received your files April 11, it takes 11 weeks to blah blah". Slightly concerned that people with the same scan date as me are getting quick CC's, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
