Just a quick question, Iย  was reading in some forums, is it true that cases transferred to local offices might get interviewed?

ย 

and, roughly, if there's an rfe when do they normally send it? A month before? two months? this is for VSC since I know CSC has a diff processing time.

Timeline

Now that USCIS updated their i-751 processing times to 12-15 months I think i'm gonna have to get my Australian passport renewed in case i need the i-551 stamp. The problem is that I have to apply in person at my nearest embassy which is 5 hours away in Washington DC.ย <_< Guess i'm going on a road trip lol

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

well, go to DC and enjoy the cherry blossom while you are renewing your passport there,ย  you wont regret itย :D

We've been to DC a few times over the last 4 years. Lovely place, terrible drivers!ย :D

We were just in DC and we spend the night last Sunday...Just find a parking garage (spot hero) near where ur embassy atย and never have a problem worrying about finding a parking space and changing quarters... georgetown is a short cab or metro ride.. or if ur up to it walking is good too โ˜บ๏ธ

I wasn't planning to apply for N-400 before, but with recent changes I am thinking of applying when the Window opens.ย  Is any one else thinking about filing N-400 ?

My 2 yr GC says "resident since"ย  on 07/07/2017, so my three yr anniversary is 07/07/2018, so the earliest filing for me is 04/08/2018.ย

I had planned to file for my n-400 on April 19 which is day 1 of my eligibility window but my husband's job site closed down so I am going to hold off until he finds a new job then I plan to file online!

October 2017 filer here. 100% going to file for N-400 if they cant get my case to a decision before I am elegible to file for N-400.ย  Im already getting all the paper work together :D

They like to create more work for themselves.ย
