Hello everyone,

My fiance and I got engaged on October 28th 2016 in Cambodia. I moved to Cambodia at the end of August 2016 and have been living and teaching here since. My fiance and I met in 2015. We have decided to apply for a K-1 fiance visa and we are mailing our I-129F next week. I definitely do not make enough money to complete the I-134 Affidavit of Support when it comes time for my fiance's interview. I have read that joint sponsors are allowed at some embassies, but not all. Has anyone had any experience with using a joint sponsor for a K-1 visa at the US Embassy in Cambodia? My Dad has agreed to be the sponsor and he makes more than enough to meet the requirements. Does anyone think I would have any problem with proving domicile in the US? I have only been here for 7 months and am only on a one year visa. Please let me know your Affidavit of Support experiences that you have had in Cambodia! Thank you in advance!!
