Hello Omoba,

Who is your congressman?

Mine -according to my location in SE Houston- is Pete Olson. Today I will fill out a form to provide my details since I reached 100 days waiting on my EAD.

😔😟😯

Hello,

My EAD request reached 100 days :(

Based on my SR (call I made on Day 90) I got this message from USCIS today:

"The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly".

This is very frustrating 🙁 today afternoon we received the correct information of our congressman, I will submit the forms this weekend asking for help.

Hey, it's the same email that I received on Thursday morning, then in the evening, my status changed to new card being produced. It should come no longer than Monday or Tuesday. Be hopeful.

Hi Everyone!

I had my green card interview today. It went really well! We got there 30 mins early. Our appointment was at 9 and we got called in for our appointment at 9:30.

Our officer was really nice! He was cracking jokes and laughing. Our interview was short: around 10 mins. He didn't really ask us any questions about our relationship except for how we met. He also went through all the questions I had to check at the I-485 application ("Have you ever committed a crime..."). He collected our marriage certificate and the other documents we brought as proof. He said he had never seen an application processed so fast before - only 3 months! He ended the interview with saying that he'd finish up our application today and I should expect my card in the mail next week.

Just now I got a notice on my USCIS app saying my card is being produced. Yay! This was the San Jose, CA USCIS office.

Huge congratulations. 3 months is ridiculously quick, by all accounts. And, I won't lie: I am extremely jealous.

Wow that's amazingly fast! Congrats! :D This is VERY encouraging, considering you had your interview in one of the bay area offices where they have a huge backlog. Additionally, the timing cannot get any better: the weekend would be worry-free at least. Celebrate it well! B-)

Your interview is around the corner, right? I can't imagine that they will send a RFE a few days before the interview!

Good luck for the interview btw!!:)

i meant to say now instead of not there... yeah it is in 11 days... I'm so nervous even though i have nothing to be nervous about... the only thing that bothers me is that historically I'm quite horrible at interviews lol... BTW I saw someone on here say you can get RFEs up until the date of the interview, hopefully not true as I haven't seen someone who actually had to go through it, post on here... thanks for the luck and hope everything ends up being great...
