Just got off the phone with NVC.  Have case number and all other ID numbers.

So it was 12 days from NOA2 approval to NVC.

From what I have seen from others, it takes about 2 to 3 days to get to Embassy and ready status.

Congratulations! One step closer to be with your beloved 😊

Much appreciated! So... this means it just hasn't been touched yet? (womp womp)

Yes the tracker is delayed on notification and status change. When my fiance called yesterday the tier 2 said we are approved but when I check the tracker yesterday it still said our case was received. It is only later today that the tracker has updated our approval.

@TamaraN Congratulations! :jest:

Glad you have made it! Now get ready for the next steps. First, NVC, and then on to the more specific instructions for your own Embassy.

Remember that checking their website, the country portal on VJ and talking to others that have gone through the same consulate, is the best thing to do to get ready and know what comes next, as so many things are country specific.

Good luck :D

@S*UK let's hope this is a sign of good things to come and not an anomaly.

I really hope so but, after scanning all the 4/10 received dates this morning it really seems that this was a NOA1 4/10 not a received 4/10. I don't see any cases with 4/10 received date that were updated as approved on the tracker yesterday.

Sorry, I'm not very optimistic I know. It's just hard to be positive when everyday there are more approvals after our case.

I really think yours is already in the post and on it's way to you! :)

I know it's difficult but you are so close! Plus the advantage of it taking forever to get from CSC to your OH is less waiting time before you can call NVC and get your case number B-)

One RFE for April 19 received date.

This USCIS App is better than my old case tracker. It can scan up to 100 cases and add lots of case numbers to monitor.

I really hope so but I've now got it in my head that we are gonna get a RFE

I was looking back at the I-129F and saw that my OH didn't tick a box confirming he had NOT received a certificate for citizenship. This tick box was after another one asking how he became a US citizen (born in the US) so... he obviously assumed that next question did not apply to him. BUT on here, the example form has that box checked as NO even though the example was born in the US. Maybe I'm overthinking it but I am really worried now.

Can anyone give their opinion :(

OK, let me grab my copy of the package...

Do you mean Part 1, point 13 on the old i-129F form?

We checked yes in 13.a (Birth in the US), and nothing else after that, so you should be ok :)

Also, it wouldn't make sense to check no in the naturalization certificate one, because it's obvious a US born citizen can't do that.

Ah thanks for such a quick reply. Yes I'm talking about 13.d

On the example on VJ it is checked as 'no'.

But you're right, it doesn't make sense. I'm so relieved you didn't check anything either -_-

22 days between NOA2 and visa approved... Wow :o That has to be some kind of record. Congratulations!

Regarding your package for POE, they will give you that, along with your passport back, when the administrative processing is done and the visa issued. Sure they gave you instructions already for the pick up or mailing :)
