@Estibaliz thank you! I will be giving it a go tonight. This is one time I'm glad we are head in timezones :) We have a lawyer helping with our case but they are going by the official guidelines and say they'll be calling in about a week and a half to get a case #, I'm not good at waiting for other people to do something I can easily do. :P

OMG I just got a notification on my app, we got our NOA2 just now!! It's nearly midnight and I was actually going to sleep but wanted to check something on my iPad and it popped up. So so happy.

Yep, lawyers like to go by the book and wait the minimum three weeks that used to be the norm. But I very much agree with you that it worths a try :)

And when they have your case # they will ask for Petitioner and Beneficiary's names and DOBs. That's the sign you hit the jackpot with them.

 

Good luck calling. We are trying today too, since I've seen cases with the same date received and one that called late in the evening even got the number already. Fingers crossed... :)

Sorry, I was talking about NVC, not CSC. We never called CSC. I think you have to call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. But I do think only petitioners can call them 😶

It was my fiance who called. He got lucky calling the first time. You might wanna try calling the time that he did. 3:30 California time. Coz maybe there are bulk of callers in the morning so its harder to get thru in the morning.

After the app showed yesterday one Approval for a case dated as April 18th, I've just checked the cases for that day again, and haven't seen any moves there, so I assume that was Notice Date after all.

maybe it is different for countries, just for Moscow the schedule for interview does not active on the embassy's site ,  until  status of case  "Administrative Processing"
