Just logged in to see my IV fee changed to PAID" and IV application "START NOW" exactly 3 days  👏🏼 getting there slowly

Scan Date: Feb 27.

Just got off the phone with NVC, and the representative said our case is still not in review department (it slipped out of her mouth, which she later tried to correct by saying "we have up to 11 weeks. Feel free to call back if you haven't heard by then"). I hope they start working on our case soon.

Does anyone know if NVC lets you know if you get a checklist over the phone or its always via email?

Iv seen post on here where people were told over the phone when they called to check the status

After 13weeks nvc already figured out that i dont need i864a 😂

Our I-130 was approved for my spouse on 4/21. I know it takes time before it gets sent to the NVC but does welcome letter usually come via email as well as in the mail? I have a USCIS online profile registered with my email but I was curious how NVC would have my email. We will be filing a 601A as well.

Did you get the welcome letter from nvc? Did they review the ds261 over the phone? Did it need to be reviewed before you could pay the aos fee?

I was approved 3/31 but still no welcome letter .. got a case number and iid via phone last week though.

Also, about our previous conversation, I made sure with my wife that she doesn't have any vaccination records on her. But her parents took care of her all vaccines when she was a child. Now, what do you recommend me doing in this situation?

Well as all are suggesting,

• try ringing up USCIS appointed doctor(chennai,mumbai,or delhi) to check on the list of vaccines which are applicable to your wife (as mentioned in my earlier post not all vaccines are applicable to immigrants of all age groups & the USCIS website does not classify vaccines according to their age).
• try asking them if it is useful to get your wife have a blood test and get herself vaccinated (for the vaccines suggested by them) and get those records with her once she has the interview letter.
• If you get a confirmation, get it done!
• It might be expensive at the USCIS appointed doctor, but I feel the emphasis should be on getting things done in the right way as per the standards set by USCIS. After all we are spending so much of time in the process, so there should not be any room to err or mistakes.

yeah, but she said we need the welcome e-mail before that, I think. confused is it possible to pay the AOS fee without the e-mail aswell just like I did the ds261? ( I only have the IIN and case number that we got over the phone, but no beneficiary ID)

Not 100% sure but either way I'd wait about 2-3 weeks or so and call nvc to see if you have a case number assigned yet. Good luck on your i601a we also had to take this "middle" step.

Was you filling for a minor child? Just wondering why you do not need it
