Good news here! We got an Approval Notice on the mail today. On the USCIS website, it still says Case Received. My NOA1 is April 18th (TSC).

this makes sense because we are paying for it also if u look up history of shutdown most are few days to a week so till monday it would be two days.

1/25/18 - NVC received case

3/30/18 - Case # and IIN assigned

3/30/18 - Paid AOS and IV fee

4/9/18 - AOS and IV fee Status Changed to Paid

4/9/18 - Submit DS 260 and uploaded AOS and IV package

4/16/18 - Case complete

5/7/18 - Received interview email 

6/4/18 - Interview @ 7am at ISL embassy - Approved :jest:

quick question. i got the approved letter and it has notice date of jan 10 but on uscis website it says they sent to nvc jan 18 so whats the diff between these two dates? im trying to figure out when should i know they sent it so i know how long its been and when to contact nvc thanks

means that they approved you on Jan 10 but didn't send to NVC until Jan 18. Give it a week before start calling NVC to make sure they have received it.

i called nvc today to see if they received my case and they did answer call so thats good...

I called as well! My case was received on 1/8...they said it takes 2 weeks to get a case number & that one should be assigned by end of day today. So hopefully they'll have it when I call tomorrow!

4-24-17 I-130 sent to Chicago Lock Box

4-25-17 NOA 1 & sent to TSC

11-15-17 NOA 2

12-26-17 Case sent to Dept. of State

1-08-18 NVC Received case

3-12-18 Case Number Assigned / AOS & IV Fees Paid

3-14-18 DS-260 Completed

3-16-18 Uploaded Civil Documents

3-21-18 Uploaded AOS Documents

ahh ok good to know thanks. i call around 7-8 am and they have wait time of 20 min so not bad....

also how do u add signature of ur caSE HISTORY? i noticed u had huge wait between noa2 and case sent to department of state. mine was 8 days.....

Go to account, then the settings drop down menu has a signature tab. Texas is taking SO long to send cases...it's been over two months since approval & I still haven't been able to start the NVC process yet! But very soon hopefully!

Called nvc to see how the process was going...and i asked about the gov shutdown...the gentlemen on the phone said the secretary of state said to continue on as normal with case processing. ..so looks like we are ok =)

Hmm. Funny because last time they gave me a period of 45 days. Which ended on January 20th. Now they are saying "shortly". How shortly would you guess I will get a notice?

not sure but generally speaking they give estimates on larger side to give them room and so people wont keep bugging them but it shouldnt take full amount. like even nvc people are like give us 6 weeks to receive case but obviously it shouldnt take that long. i guess after the wait period is over u have a case where they must give u an answer...
