F2B for Alien Relatives over 21 yrs of age

Hello everyone,

      I have some questions  from everyone who went through the processing I have as F2B I petition my son over 21 yrs old from my home country of Phils I sent my petition last year March 2016 less than a month I received my receipt notice and how long I'm gonna receive the Priority Date just worry why I don't receive any yet hope anyone here can give my mind at ease who can share there timeline for how long there waiting....I would appreciate someone can share there timeline those who file last year thanks

It will be almost an 11 year wait for the priority dates to become current under the F2B family preference for a beneficiary from the Philippines.

As stated earlier it will be over a 10 year wait for people from the Philippines. Which part of NC are you in now, my asawa is from Davao.

So how will it takes to receive the priority date I have my friend who fille one year ahead of me within that year she receive a priority date in less than a year why it take a year already I don't receive any yet?

You already received your PD in the 1st Notice of Action I-797C you got from USCIS. Take a look at the "Received Date" - this date is your PD.

Ah ok Lain thanks for the reply idk why my friend mentioned about she received another noticed which I don't exactly understand why I'm don't received any in a year already...so what I'm gonna do next sorry for asking more I'm just new to this process just want someone who can give there time to give me some guide if the can and I would be very thankful with that with all my heart...Have a wonderful Monday all

What happens next is he will wait until his PD becomes current. For the PHL it is going to take some time. Something like over 10 years.

I think, that you are talking about the 2nd Notice of Action I-797, which is your Approval Notice, when USCIS will forward your case to NVC.

Your friend received it fast, because USCIS service centers used to proceed it faster, they got more slow now. It depends which service center proceeds your case, I think, that in one year you'll get your 2nd Notice, but this doesn't change your waiting time, till your PD will become current.
