You might be sarcastic, but to me 80's really is too hot. I like it in the 50-60 range, with some sun and no wind...maybe up to 70 if it isn't too much sun.

No sir. I will take my 101 degree 99% humidity days

Ewww lol. The funny thing is I spent so much time in a middle eastern climate, you would think I'd be used to it or even appreciate it, but I don't. I always considered it hell, and even there I could not wait for winter. There are people here that have lived here all their lives and they usually dress alot warmer than me in the winter, I swear to you I never go further than an unzipped jacket and a long sleeve shirt underneath, even when it's -20.

The older I get the more I don't like the heat. Nothing like standing in the asphalt in 100 degree heat , listing to some blow hard tell you his life story

Never more than an unzipped jacket?  You are definetly build for the cold. I know another guy like that. No gloves.no hat...and never seems to get cold.

I hear the part about the blowhards. All they ever seem to be looking for is a fresh set of ears.

Yeah that would feel terrible. I always said the only thing summer is good for is Scuba diving.

Nope. I mean I do wear boots but I meant as far as layers go. Granted it is a warm jacket but still just a wool jacket. Gloves...only if I have to stay out for too long and use my hands, just to avoid the frost bites. Otherwise if need be I'll stick em in my pockets. Never a hat. I do grow a pretty long beard in the winter it helps keep my face warmer lol I see people around here in ski masks and they look ridiculous.

Hell yes. I spent 80% of my life in California, move to Ontario (then Alberta), can handle Canadian cold better than Canadian wife.

KVUGig5.gif

Typical Saturday bout with the wife:

- Ok babe it's 5am lets get started on cleaning the house and car

- WHAT ITS WAY TOO EARLY GO BACK TO BED

- Plays Skyrim until she wakes up

- She Wakes up 12pm

- Welp honey I'm ready to do shopping, cleaning, etc.

- Me: f*** that I'm vegging now

Miss the days as a kid when dad would have me up at 5 for doing chores and going golfing.

Grew up in the Midwest, so there man.  Checkmate.

Melodramatic weather forecast would have been more accurate as "mostly cloudy with peeks of sun, chance of rain 40%."

However, Louisiana has been getting hammered.  One man left his house to go to the store, and when he returned, he found the bodies of his wife & children in the tornado-destroyed ruins.  Tragic.
