She "aspirations" to be a teacher, that means the is not a teacher now so stop trying to spread that bs.

woah. why is that bs? she's going to college (how she got in under daca in the first place) to be a math teacher. are you insinuating she's not really going to college, never plans to put her education to use?

 

i think it's absurd to deport a person like vargas without hearing simply because HER PARENTS FORCED HER into visa overstay and she has been here the VAST MAJORITY of her life. you don't have to keep quoting that she's going to be deported without hearing because of the overstay, i know how this works.

The fact is that she WAS going to college but she took last semester off to "help pay bills". So your assumption that she is currently going to college is wrong, I can argue semantics just as good as you. Why is it absurd to deport her if she was out of status? Sorry but if I don't have the money to continue my education or pay for my status to be current, then I will work as many jobs and hours as I can in order to have the money I need. I have done it before myself, so you trying to say we should feel sorry for her is bs. Why would I feel sorry for someone who can't even plan ahead enough in order to make sure that she stays current with immigration law? She should have been working overtime to make sure she had that $400.

The link I posted above by the BBC said that ICE became aware of her because they did a raid on her house for her brother and father back in February. She hid in a cupboard the whole time until she was found and they questioned her, and let her go, but they ended up taking her brother and father. So I guess they checked her status from that point to March and found out she was out of status, then picked her up.

i really haven't investigated her, if she was helping to pay bills and had to save up for the daca fee i mean - that's not criminal. i'm not arguing anything with you, and i'm not trying to make you 'feel sorry' for anybody. i'm a live and let live kinda person. i actually feel sorry for you (and others), as it must be truly rough going through life without a soul.

She needed DACA to work so a bit odd.
