Congrats.

So we are both approved.

I'm curious where you found out card was mailed yesterday from?

Everytime I check uscis case status, it says case received from last year even though I got the approval letter last week.

Im in the same boat as you, my application was approved last week, no status change, no update on card production, no nothing.  Mine was from Vermont as that is where my letter came from and my case was not transferred.  So unless sind27 has received an approval letter from Vermont then it may have come from their field office. The approval letter is the only thing that gives any insight to where the case was approved, what they say on the phone I would take with a pinch of salt. Plus the card comes from one place regardless of whether it has been approved at a USCIS service centre or a field office.  I also feel that when its approved at Vermont, they dont rush production of the GC, but when its approved at a field office they are seemingly more efficient and send the request for production at the same time.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

So yours was transferred, mine wasn't,  it said Vermont on the envelope and was signed by the manager of VSC (obviously generic).  I use to work in a centre in England for a famous credit card company and I know that to produce a card all I had to do was check the address and press an enter button.  It took 2 to 3 days to get to the customer.  Hey ho,  I can't complain, at least I am not waiting in the bottomless pit of approval. Just wish they would speed up for everyone else who is still waiting!

Hey guys, we just received an update from USCIS.  I’m hoping this just means movement towards approval and not an interview or RFE. What I don’t get is why is it called Name Update? We haven’t changed a thing since this process started. That’s just a strange title if you ask me. Still hoping for the best.

Guys, how in the world do you get hold of a customer representative with the 1800 number? Tried the whole day yesterday, but that automated phone call kept saying call back from M-F 8am-6pm. What options do I choose to talk to tier 1/2 officer?🤯

I wouldn't worry about it too much. You will get an RFE first before you get an interview.. We got an RFE yesterday none of my status are updated.

FYI post:

1) The images you are seeing for people showing USCIS letters in the mail.  You can go to the USPS site and sign up for Informed Delivery.   After a couple of days, all mail being delivered to you will show as images on their website and in your email by 9am every morning. so you know what's going to be in the mail that day even if you are at work and can't go to your mailbox.=.

2) For everyone checking USCIS case status - In your NOA you may have TWO EAC or WAC numbers in Application/Petition/Request Number field at top.  Check BOTH numbers w/ USCIS Case Status page.  For ours the following timeline for both numbers:

EAC#1: USCIS site wouldn't find for 11 months.

EAC#2: Stated it was for I-89 (biometrics) and the status was tied to the NOA letter sent for biometrics appointment

2/27:

EAC#1: Suddenly USCIS website can find this number and it's attached to the I-751.  Status: Case transferred to local office

EAC#2: No change to original status

2/28:

EAC#1: New Status: Name Change on the I-751.  Based on research, I think this status means that the name of the immigration officer might have been change.  It certainly means the case is being reviewed and decision, RFE or interview will come soon.

EAC#2: New status: New card is being produced.

3/2:

EAC#1: Same name change message.

EAC#2: New Status: Card is being mailed

Note we never saw an approved status, nor have we received any mail at this point since April 2017 (NOA).   We have not called USCIS.  We assume based on these statuses that we are approved.   I am bringing this up as some people are only checking one number when they may have multiple.

I think it is interesting that several people are reporting that their approval letters have the field office address now. Here's another theory - maybe there is a simple procedural change in terms of which office is the final office to push the final approval button and that is why we all got the transferred message. Perhaps the cases themselves are still at the service center but the local office can view enough online to give a final yay or nay to the service center decision?

I'm jealous of all you VSC filers!
