I doubt there is any decent sized construction project anywhere, that does not or did not have workmen liens filed against it at some point. Could be for many different reasons including a sub contractor didn't pay someone or a supplier didn't get paid. It's fairly common . Of course the story is laid out in such a way as to make it look like Trump himself directly beat someone out of the money.

More absolutely dishonest fake news, eagerly laped up by the low information voters  of the hysteria griped left who scour the earth to find any absurd morsels to attack Trump.

It's sad really that so many can't think for themselves

Seen it in my work

Seen it in your profile:  Happy recent 10-year VJ anniversary.

(Off-topic!  Reported!!!)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It's sad really that so many can't think for themselves

Even by your own description of it, the news is not "fake", it is just "not important" or "not unique to Trump". That is very different. You can complain about the bias of the news, but that doesn't equate to "fake".

It's like how they have been calling all the news about the leaks "fake news", and yet they are all pissing in their pants about the leaks. Clearly they aren't fake, they are just not what you want to see in the news.

Seriously get over yourself. The stories aren't fake, you just don't like to read them.

Reed Cornish , present at dinner, and Kushner pal/friend  hasn't divested from his family biz including casinos... Birds of a feather...

prominent Baltimore-based real estate developer and longtime friend of the Trump family will serve as an assistant to the president, President-elect Donald Trump’s transition announced on Tuesday.

Reed S. Cordish, a partner at the Cordish Companies, has been involved in some of the region's largest developments, including Power Plant Live and the Maryland Live Casino. The company has developed casinos, hotels and other shopping centers across the country.

Cordish will serve as an assistant to the president for intragovernmental and technology initiatives, the transition announced.

"I am humbled by the role and excited to work with the incredible people within the West Wing and the Agencies to effect change,” Cordish said in a statement released by the transition.

The Cordish family has long been close to Trump, and it helped to orchestrate the New York businessman's visit to Maryland in 2015, when he spoke at a party fundraiser at the BWI Marriott.

The transition said Cordish will be responsible for "presidential initiatives that require multi-agency collaboration." Cordish, whose appointment was first reported by Jewish Insider, will also focus on technological innovation and modernization.

in other words if the post is fake, as in not truthful, then you're asserting that no liens have been filed.

Thanks! I'm celebrating by helping the ex file his N-400 this week or next. My visa journey will finally be done and I can retire. :D

Yeah right. I'm doing an immigration law elective in September and I want to stick around for that in here.
