oh, see THAT was an error. my bad. but no, not good enough. i want a public apology, not public mourning for show (why he took ivanka). oh and while he's at it, he can apologize for the toddlers and infants and women he allowed killed in the raid obama had tabled for lack of intel. 

 

eta, you don't have to serve to understand the sacrifice. come from a marine family and navy family - please step down from the pulpit.

So what you are saying pretty much is that you have never served in the military but you stayed in a holiday inn last night. Got it! Yes its true, the cowards in Yemen hide behind women and children. Tell me how many women and children died from Obama's drone war and tell me how many times he played golf right after Americans were killed somewhere over in that ####### hole of the Middle East.

so what you're pretty much saying is trump made the right decision to go ahead with the raid, even though his military experience seemed to have capped at going to a memorial for soldier he let down with his overeager approach at raiding with minimal intel. oh and you're also disrespecting the lives of both of my grandfathers and the life lessons they passed on to me about respect for the sacrifice of military and human life. you're a classy fella, merle.

While Trump may not have made the right call by authorizing this mission, it's important to remember it was presented to him and they don't present a plan they don't believe they can execute. So obviously, those responsible thought it was good enough and then the president has two choices: Either go with what they tell you or demand more. My guess is Obama knew this mission was risky and decided to let the next president handle it not only because of lack of intel, but because he didn't want it on him. He wanted it to be Trump's problem and now it is. Trump didn't prepare the plan - he only gave the go ahead he was asked to. Clearly it might have been rushed, but that's the military for ya.

That is very true, it is the same as what we see in other areas - the Palestinians, Iraq, Syria, etc. You can't shoot at people out of buildings that have women and children in them and when that building is attacked in order to prevent deaths to the forces, cry crocodile tears. It doesn't work that way. While every loss of innocent life on either side should upset us, the outrage is often directed at the wrong people and not those who are actually responsible for that loss.

  Did Trump serve, or is the idolization based on something else?  Perhaps the tough guy image is an adequate substitute.

What are you even talking? I dont iddoloze Trump, but blaming Trump for the death of this SEAL is quite silly. Are we supposed to blame Trump any time a military member is killed in the line of duty? I mean these guys are doing some pretty dangerous stuff. They ain't playing patty cake.

   I wasn't talking specifically about you, just in general. For example, with a military vehicle flying the flag of the United States of Trump instead of the flag of their country. It's a little strange, even eerie.  I wonder where it's coming from.
