Yes, very frustrating indeed. Outlook for coming months are also not exciting. Based on some of the charts circulated in this forum a while ago, there aren't too many applicants for 2004, but its not moving. Hope our wait pays off soon.

My PD is July 02, but haven't received the WL yet and could not proceed with DS261. It says the case is not ready for further processing. Already sent an email to NVC few days back, but haven't heard from them yet. Any idea what could have caused this? Folks with PD Oct / Nov 2004 has already received it, but how come some of us with early PD don't have it yet? Anyone understands their process kindly shed some light on this.

Apparently yes. Never thought about this, but it's happening. Some of the folks in this forum with later PD's than ours already received the WL. Also, saw the same pattern at Vietnamese forum. Not sure how NVC determine on whose WL's to send first.

Hello Guys,

NVC just opened our application at ceac.state.gov -- however they removed my name i'm the child on the case. My mom is the primary beneficiary. I'm 23, but CSPS should apply for me, any idea what should I do call them? or is there anything i can do for them to add my name there?

Any help is much appreciated. THANK YOU!

it all depends on if your PD is current? Is your mom under F4 or F3? There are different ways they so this whole process. We have family who are in progress of f4. Their son is turning 25 this September.  His name wasn't on the welcome letter we called NVC they said he won't be added on till the PD is current.  Meanwhile we paid all the fees and completed visa application than 10 days before the date become current the parents received their interview we call NVC again and was told the parents need to take him with them to embassy and officer will decide if the son is still eligible for visa. That was all said over the phone so we know cause of security reasons only people who will be allowed to enter the embassy will be if their name is on the interview letter so we send the embassy and NVC  an email asking them to send an invoice for the son. NVC never replied but the embassy replied "parents should bring the son to interview with along with his passport and birth certificate.  We were fine with that cause we had something in writing to show the security that's what we were told.

Than about 15 days before the interview we received an email asking to fill ds-260 and figure prints and medical for the son and the iV fee will have to paid on the day of the interview. They are still waiting for the visa cause the mom had some negative Medical report that they have to get retested they were as soon her medical report clears they will get their visa.

BTW this was case in india. And pd was 2003 and approved in  2009

Looks like your PD is not current yet so there isn't you can do at time.i were you I would email NVC request invoice once  your PD is current. Make sure you explain in detail how your are eligible for visa under CSPA. As I said earlier it seams like NVC don't process the same way. I know a family who actually had lawyer handing their filing.  They said the lawyer's suggestion was not to Pay IV fee for anyone on the case unless your PD current and all  CSPA kids are show up. I do kind of agree with that cause NVC would not review your request for CSPA unless your PD is current and like in our family case cause we went ahead and paid all the fees the interview letter was sent 15 days before their pd became Current.

. People post a lot of helpfull info here so definitely stay in touch and hang in there. I think you will have your before june 2019.  Wish you all the best!!!
