Actually the radio box for selection is greyed out, at least something happened in my case. Moreover, name of my kid and spouse is there which I requested thru email to be added in case two months ago.

Ok... So if petitioner name is showing , that is the first step towards your file opening...

Normally (if file is not opened) it doesn't show the petitioner name.

Keep trying to sign in to "First link" every day. It will open up soon...You need to fill "Choice of Address/ Agent" form as soon as it opens & submit it.

After some time ( probably 30 days) your first amount will be invoiced (which you need to check & pay in my second link). (Start collecting documents by now including PCC which take good time at least in India)

After some time ( probably 15-20 days) your DS260 will be opened which you need to fill and submit.

Thanks so much.

No problem!!! Good Luck!!!!

Just another advise. Assuming you are F4.  If you have kids over 21 years old. There is a different process for them to get visa. I mean they may still be qualify for visa under CSPA. It depends on your your pd and case approval date. It one of those things that you will get different answer every time you call NVC. If you need,  I will definitely share my family members experience who are going thru this process right now.

My Sister's kids name are misspelled in the CEAC web site.  Do we need to do anything or make corrections when filing form DS-260.

I I were you I would send NVC an email before paying IV fee. It all depends on how they look at the misspelling. I mean  for us Indian names can be spell different way for example Rajeev or  Rajiv. So just send NVC an email give the the correct spelling and I would attach a copy of kids Birth certificate or copy of your I-130.

My priority date is May 3 2004 for Venezuela (F4 visa), my husband and my 2 kids are immigrating with me. It is current since April bullietin, but I haven't got my interview appointment yet.

I hope to receive the letter next month.

I am wondering about the interview questions. Anyone can share their experience?

my family has to come to the interview as well, the consular officer will be asking them questions too?
