Last night I had my husband call nvc and he told me that he spoke to a lady that said our documents were in the document review center (called last Friday and was told the same thing), anyhow, he said she told him that they should be finished soon. She also told him that they've been working quickly to get them processed.

I'm just so thankful to God and happy that I they've completed my case! I called just now and confirmed that it was indeed completed and I asked when I should expect an interview date and the lady I spoke to told me that they are finished scheduling interviews for this month and they do interview scheduling the first and second week of each month.

I have a question. If you request your case to be expedited and its accepted. Does this mess things up or is it worth doing? How does it work? I have already paid all fees here submitted all documents and completed my d260. One gentleman at nvc said i should request a expedite due to some personal reasons. My case is in review. Is anyone familiar with this?

I made a medical expedite request that was accepted at Ciudad Juarez. It doesn't hurt to try, but it really depends if they will accept it or not.

The only benefit it will get you is that you can schedule your own interview instead of waiting for NVC to do it, but this only shaves off a couple weeks at best.

EDIT: Just to be clear, it does not speed up your time at NVC. You still have to wait for your documents to be processed like everyone else.
