Hello!

I'm sending my application today (12/23), the last day the USCIS fee is still valid ($1,070). The problem is they already updated their website with the new fee, I read they would still accept the application if the post stamp had the date. Should I risk sending it anyway or wait and pay more?

This chart lists USCIS' fees effective December 23, 2016. Applications and petitions postmarked or filed on or after December 23, 2016, must include these new fees or USCIS will reject your submission.

Unfortunately you have to pay more. On December 23, the new fees go into effect so anything postmarked after December 22 is subject to the new fees.

actually I only receive my co-sponsor documents yesterday, but hey, it happens, right? no need for judgments :)

More or less the same thing here, I was like ", fees are going up on December 23, why didn't we send the AOS earlier???" and then I realized we didn't even have our marriage certificate yet (took LA county 4 weeks to record our marriage). I was almost about to send the AOS package anyway, without the certificate and recieve an RFE instead. :sleepy:

I sent the AoS late too for some reasons. I sent it on December 22 thru FedEx and it was delivered on December 23 morning. I hope they accept it because I have no idea if FedEx put a ship date on it :cry:

01/11/2017: Acceptance confirmation thru e-mails and texts  

01/17/2017: Noa in the mail

01/24/2017: Biometrics appointment letter for 02/02/2017 

02/02/2017: Biometrics taken (I've removed my piercing :(  )

01/30/2017: Got a letter saying I forgot the medical form I-693
