As Donald J. Trump, the man whos entire campaign was predicated on bringing American jobs back to America, vows to keep his promise to the people, a Virginia winery owned by son Eric Trump is petitioning to government for the opportunity to hire foreign workers, the New York Post reports.

The request, filed by the Trump Winery on Dec. 2 and posted online by the Department of Labor Wednesday, show that the Trump-owned vineyard is requesting six foreign workers under the federal H-2 program, a temporary work visa that allows US employers bring foreign labor.

According to the application, Trump Vineyard will pay the H-2 workers $10.72 an hour for 40 hours a week, as well as an unpaid lunch break. It will run from January until June 2017.

ABC News reports the winery applied for the 19 visas through the H-2 program in 2016; it made similar requests in 2014 and 2015.

Trump ran on a pro-worker populist platform throughout his campaign, and maintained that image despite numerous reports indicating the president-elect hires foreign workers at his establishments, including his Florida estate Mar-a-Lago.

Its a shame isn't it that we have so much welfare and benefits in this country that we have to hire foreign nationals to get work done in the US

Same thing in Peach county GA. More than half the citizens age 18-35 are on some form of public assistance. Yet during Peach season they have to hire immigrant labor in order to get the crops in.

Great my taxpayer money pays people not to work and we have to bring in non citizens to do work they will not do cause they are getting paid not to work

Let that belly get hungry. They will go to work

Reminds me of the decline and fall of the Roman Empire.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

As I said before, Americans have become weak and flabby. Now they must import their slave labour

I couldn't decide on just one meme so here have a page full of them.

https://grasshoppernews.com/2015/05/18/corporate-welfare-in-15-memes/

Want to crunch some numbers ? Here you go :

http://www.cheatsheet.com/business/high-on-the-hog-the-top-8-corporate-welfare-recipients.html/?a=viewall

How much money is spent on corporate welfare?
Government Spends More on Corporate Welfare Subsidies than Social Welfare Programs. About $59 billion is spent on traditional social welfare programs. $92 billion is spent on corporate subsidies. So, the government spent 50% more on corporate welfare than it did on food stamps and housing assistance in 2006.
I find it strange that you get your panties in an uproar over food assistance for the poor and don't mention a word about
the money grabbing corporations. Your boy Trump will make sure there will be more tax breaks for his wealthy cronies
but oh yeah let us not worry about grandma deciding between food or meds. Maybe she can just go into the fields and
pick some peaches to munch on.

Yes corporate welfare is wrong also. So is govt flood insurance to rich beach house owners. What is your point.

My point is I have never seen a comment about you mentioning corporate welfare but you like to pick on welfare for the poor which

is nothing compared to the former.
