I like popcorn.

Hate to break the news to you...but the type of ladies you describe come from every corner of the globe. It's no secret they are not limited to just one race or country. They come in all shapes and sizes.

P.S. Tell the roomies I said Hello!

Jelly beans are cool.

How is it that interesting, thought-provoking threads get shut down at request but THIS GUY is still around trolling and commenting stupid ####### for no other reason than to be a giant #######? Puh-lease.

Wait, though. In an hour or so we'll get a post about how his silly roommates were back on his computer AGAIN - those punks - making comments he never would.

I have addressed Thai Pham and his VJ membership. No worries, this one was pretty obvious :).

I have spoken to a few lawyers via e-mail. they say the charge wont be much of a problem, however one of them said that the Manila Consulate doesnt accept co-sponseors at this time for K1 visas. Can anyone confirm this??? I will do whatever it takes. I read somewhere else (after hearing this) that K3 can co-sponsor but K1 cant? All except one lawyer website for K1 visas that I have found, say you can use a co-sponsor. Maybe they just aren't updated? Can someone please help me if you have heard of this? I cant find a straight answer on the forums either. Thanks in advance

niceguy26,

Read 9 FAM 40.41 (Public Charge) Notes, N4.6-3, in particular N4.6-3c and the note that follows. The anecdotal evidence is that the consulate in Manila takes this guidance quite seriously.

I just read it and it seems the same as I have researched before. I heard that they "no-longer" even accept co-sponsors now. Thats what Im worried about. I thought maybe something has changed recently... Should I not even fill an I-134? its kinda confusing. I am just shy of the 125%...

If you don't file it, you won't be approved. Time to get a second job.

I make enough money NOW, but not 2006

NOW is what matters. As long as you meet required 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for your household, you should be fine.

lol, thanks. This however is all from the past. I actually pick my child up from my ex-mother in law twice a week now. I learn to forgive, even though is VERY hard considering the circumstances. If my income now is what matters, I guess it would be better to "not" file with a co-sponsor. I was under the impression that the last 3 years were necessary. I would even get Married in the Phils and file K3 if I had to. My fiancee and I are both veryn patient and very much in love, and willing to do anything it takes. Thanks for all the advice everyone
