Hello everyone!

I am new here in this forum.

We are already at that stage where we would be scheduling for the medical and the interview, and I just need to know what requirements should I bring if we are gonna be having a joint sponsor (in this case my fiance's dad)? Moreover, when I checked the required documents based on the link that I have seen from the website of the consulate where the interview will be held, it was listed there that my fiance has to provide the following:

- Proof of the petitioner's financial support for the visa applicant and the petitioner's domicile in the United States, including Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, U.S. Federal Tax Returns for the three (3) most recent years, and proof of employment;

So, it really has to be for the last (3) years? My fiance worked homebased as a tech support agent for different companies in a span of 2 yrs. We really don't know what to do now. We are clueless. Totally clueless. :(

Also, what forms do we have to fill out and bring on the date of the interview?

Thank you in advance to those who's going to answer. :)

hi

that's not the correct affidavit of support for k1, the i864 is for when you are married and filing adjustment of status

the affidavit for fiancé visa is the i134 for petitioner fiancé and one i134 for joint sponsor

together with financial documents

if your fiancé didn't make enough and qualify to file taxes, he must explain it in a letter. now if he did qualify, he should have filed taxes

In your situation, the petitioner and the joint sponsor would each complete an I-134 of their own. Each will need to include a letter from the current employer, a handful of pay stubs, and the most recent tax transcript. Bank statements/a letter from bank showing the savings balance/account information can also be useful. I'd have your fiancé/your sponsor include all 3 transcripts if they have access to them, just to be safe- if the information isn't used, at least you had it available worst case! :)

Your fiancé working for different companies over 2 years is not an issue- what matters is the income on their tax transcripts. If your fiancé didn't have to file taxes for any of the 3 years, or is currently not earning, have them include a letter explaining why (full time student with no job, didn't earn enough to file that year, etc.) with their I-134.

For the interview, bring a new Letter of Intent from your S/O with a date closer to the interview and additional evidence that shows you and your fiancé continuing the relationship since the filing of your I-129F (call logs, letters, etc./ if you've been together- flight itineraries, boarding passes, passport stamps, photos, etc.) which is anything dated between your NOA 2 leading up to the interview. Having a copy of the entire I-129F packet originally submitted, if your fiancé made a copy, won't hurt you to have, but if you don't have it, it shouldn't be an issue either.

I'd also check out reviews and stories from others who have been through the Philippines Embassy, because each embassy has various requirements for what information they want to see and how much of it. Good luck, hope this helps a bit! :)

Hi! Im currently in the same process as you. I recevied the "READY" status and im just gathering information on Medical interview and Interview date.

I (petitioner) just started working full time 1 year ago in the US, I would include the reasoning in a letter of why Im not able to provide 3 tax returns due to being a full time student in the PH. I will include my recent tax returns, and probably have his auntie be a joint sponsor, only issue here is she's retired so I might look into another relative.

Also,

for gathering bank statements, how recent would they need them if you know? I was thinking of getting them today (Nov 29,2016) but foreign fiance interview might be around Jan 2017. Would they want anything closer to that? Would it matter? Thanks! and Goodluck to us!
