I got a 221g. That additional requirement is the letter from Petitioner explaining relationship and why he has not visited applicant in over two years. I guess I'm really lucky because I didn't get outright denied XD I'm just confused as to how I'm going to send this though? The email just linked me to the 2go travel website and I couldn't find instructions as to how I can send it? The email says it's going to be free of charge though? Can anyone who's been on the same experience help? And also, what are the chances that I'm gonna be denied or approved? I have been googling the same case as I do, but I can't seem to find one?

The instructions and the address is on the 221(g) given to the beneficiary.

The requirements for the K-1 visa is at least one visit within the last two years. You should've been ahead of this by either having the required visit or, if you have a valid reason, explain the reason for not meeting that requirement. As soon as you've sent in the required document, the CO will review it and make a decision. Can be anything from a couple of weeks to a few months.

So, he can't travel to you? HOw is he going to pay for ticket here for you?

how is he going to afford the AOS over $1000? and buy your health care insurance, a cell phone, food and other things you need?

Basically what i am trying to say is sounds like you will start a marriage with heavy debt / money problems are the main reason marriages in US fall apart

be careful / think hard about this as you and he need a good life and it is a long time before you are able to workut

we all wish the best for you but we want you to know what will happen and what you are getting into / marriage is a serious business

He HAD college debt before, but he paid it all off in a year and a half, THAT'S the reason why he couldn't visit me then. We decided to be practical and pay off the debt rather than spend the money on vacations. Plus, he's work doesn't exactly have a lot of vacation days and he wanted to save those days in case he gets sick so he wouldn't get fired

We have met that requirement when we filed for k1 last March. He hasn't been able to visit because he had thousands of college debt though

So have him write a letter stating that and make sure to point out that the student loan has now been paid off.

You print out the email from the embassy, take that and the explanation letter from the Petitioner to a 2GO office to be delivered to the embassy (no cost to you)

Denied or approved? Guess that depends on the letter and the CO ... every case is different

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!
