hello everyone. i'm still new in this forum i i would be grateful if anyone could share with me step by step preparation of K1 file. I wish to apply for fiance application for my longtime (gay partner) in Philippines, who is now working in Singapore . A lot of people are telling me to prepare the application by myself and not to hire any lawyer/agent. I am worried that without proper guidance and sample filled out forms I may lose the chance of bringing her here. I am meeting her this coming month for 2 weeks. I wish to prepare the file before traveling. Can anyone help me please

Thank you

Zoepot

yes, the he I 129 form and blank G 325a to fill out while you are there

your photos should include many of you and her family to show they do approve

have her do a letter of intent to marry also as USCIS needs a wet signature

i took 2 copies of forms in case a mistake was made while filing one out

get copy of her passport, 2 passport size photos, and copy of her birth certificate

hope i have not forgotten anything ( check out this site for needed documents )

Make sure that the passport sized photos are stapled or clipped onto the G325 forms.

Check out this list. I followed this list exactly, and we were approved.

Please read also http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide and the tips.

The tips I could give you; prepare well. Make sure you use the search bar in here for more topics on how to prepare and what to include. Make sure to include some photo's, boarding passes, the entry stamps in your passport, a intent to marry from both + signed, etc etc. Don't staple, use paperclips or binders. Make sure both of you have American sized passport photo's.
