My EAD card was approved and sent for processing on 12/16. When should I expect to receive it? I'm assuming I'll get an update once they ship it out? Thanks in advance :)

Can someone please tell me the 90-day rule for a service request on your EAD? I have seen people counting days from when they mailed it off, when the case date is received, or their actual NOA1 date. For instance, the website says my case was received October 17th, but the mailed copy NOA1 date says October 19th. Which day do I start the count from? I plan to call on day 90 for assistance if I have not received an approval by then.

You start counting from October 17th. You can file a request on day 76. Whenever there is a RFE it keeps counting unless it is specifically for the I765 case

Ours was delivered on 10/3, received 10/4. Still nothing on EAS or AP.

Anyone else with the same dates as we are? What are your statuses?

Mine was received October 5th. I put in a request for the EAD yesterday. It said I should expect an answer by January 10th (which would be day 97 or so *sigh*) I tried to put in a request for AP as well, but that was not possible yet.

My AOS/I485 is now ready to be scheduled for an interview but no date yet. I called to check if they would have any idea when this would be scheduled, but they had no idea and as long as it is within normal processing times there isn't anything I can do about it.

It's all so very random!

I don't get why October fillers are putting in requests while they're well within processing times? I'm on day 44 and I don't worry that bad. Keep in mind that you will receive it within 90 days unless you expedite on financial hardship/loss/job offer.

they are probably too boring and have nothing to do all day :) it takes time to respond to those requests, obviously enough people whose cases were received before have not yet gotten, maybe it takes longer?

We have similar timelines, but I've had no updates since biometrics on 11/9. Also, the date on the processing times here on the forum keeps getting pushed back for me on my timeline. I don't know if it's because a lot of us aren't updating our timelines or just because the USCIS is starting to get backlogged. Also i would assume delays with xmas and New Year's but who knows. Everything seems so random. At least you got an update for interview. :joy: Also, if you don't mind me asking what was your RFE for?

It's not like an attack also, just a thought but I get it. Aren't we all bored? I haven't worked since I quit my job to move here but it won't help to put in a service request when I haven't marked the 75th day at least. It sucks you see people going faster than you but that's the unfortunate part of this journey and being on a forum where you see everyone's timelines. You might be on someone's desk who's having a holiday break, you might be on the lower part of the pile. Who knows.

Because it's frustrating to not being able to work or visit your family abroad. 90 days processing time means that there are 90 days on average between filing and having card in hand. You can expedite on financial hardship well before 75 days. The 75 days file request is technically not an expedite, but just a reminder to USCIS to ask them if they are processing it or to check if they have not lost sight of it.

Let's see how you feel when day 75 is appoaching and you haven't had any status updates yet. I want to bet good money on it that you will be putting in a service request yourself.

RFE was for the I485. I needed to proof US citizenship for my mother-in-law as she signed as a co-sponsor. I sent in a copy of her birth certificate. It was received by them on 11/22 and on 12/14 I got the notice that my case was ready to be scheduled for interview
