i got my biometrics done too today. It was a little of a hassle because they wanted to see my marriage certificate as proof of my name change but they figured it out eventually. Supposed to had my appt at 12:00, managed to walk in at 11:00 with no problems. Was done in 20 min. Good luck y'all!

Hi please can you tell us what the rfie is about?

It was about the w-2. All three were there, but the way it was copied one didn't have the heading w-2, so they didn't acknowledge it. I sent off the tax transcript as advised by my lawyer.

[Day 37 ] November 10 - Status changed to "Request for Initial evidence was mailed"

[Day 41 ] November 14 - Received RFIE notice

[Day 47 ] November 21 - Status Changed to ''Response to USCIS request for evidence was received'

[Day 57 ] December 01 - Status changed to "Request for Initial evidence was mailed"

[Day 61 ] November 05 - Received RFIE notice

[Day 68 ] December 07 - Mailed off Response

I-765

[Day 1 ] October 4 - Status "Case was received"

[Day 1/57] December 01 - Form I-765 will be processed within 90 days of the receipt of the requested evidence :cry:

I was asked too for my marriage certificate at my Bio appointment, i had mines on me just in case.

biometrics also yesterday

same experience here... I had to run out to the car to get the marriage certificate, which meant waiting/passing through security again

edit: Does anyone know if the case status should update after biometrics?

Went through K-1 (I-129F) AOS (I-485) EAD (I-765) AP (I-131) processes. Thanks to the Visa Journey community for their help and support!

Well this is interesting. It looks like we won't get a combo card? My husband's AP came in the mail yesterday. Formal green paper with his photo on it, two of them. (We said he would travel twice). The expiration date is one year from the notice of issue date. Still no further word on the EAD.

Cases can update the same day or the day after and some update a month later. It all depends!

In a hurry, we forgot our marriage certificate (nerves for nothing). We calculated some areas could still be stuck in traffic or in case of accidents, we drove there early so I'm glad security let me in at 11:00. The hassle was more that they wanted to see proof of my last name and some lady in a different office probably found the certificate in the system because she came walking out, "You husband's name is P..?" It's just a wild guess but we both thought they might have looked it up.

I had a RFE that got received by USCIS on October 20th, which sadly 'reset' my 90 days clock starting that date. I'm now consider as an October filler then.

Has any of you received news on their EAD already?

Hi,

Yes my online status changed to "Initial request for evidence was sent", I received it 3 or 4 days after in the mail.

They lost the translation of my birth certificate so I had to get it translate again and resend it.

After that, my online statuts changed to 'Request for Evidence was received'. Didn't get any change since then, on my AOS or EAD.
