I just checked my status again, and I got this:

I am hoping to receive it soon so I can apply for my citizenship. I know I am already eligible but I really wanted to wait for my 10 yr green card. -_- It took 17 months. >.< I am not going for the 120-day notice, hoping it's only around a week or two.

 

Anyway, I hope everyone will get their approval, soon, too! I think many are getting the RFEs just to double check if you are still together with my spouse. Just hang in there!!

Hi Everyone,

 

I never registered on the tracking list here before, but wanted to share my info so we can have accurate stats. We just got approved this morning on my.uscis.gov! I got a letter on my email that action on my case was taken. Regular uscis.gov website and Case Tracker app still don't show it, but i think that's how it happens for most of the people.

 

NOA: Oct 19, 2016

Approval: Mar 31st, 2018

Status showing that Card is in production.

Hi Everyone! I have received my approval letter!! NOA 10/11 and it was approved on 3/19, but I didn't see the letter until yesterday night when I got back from my vacations to Spain. I left the country on 3/21 (right when people with my similar NOA were receiving approvals, but left the country without knowing if my case was approved or not) and got back yesterday (4/1). During my vacations I was obsessed checking online updates on my case. NOTHING! I didn't get any e-mail or update in the uscis website, nor the USCIS tracker app, which my case still shows as forwarded to local office. So, my stress of coming into US again was pretty high, but I didn't have any issue showing the i551 stamp to the airline (Iberia) and border control officer (he said: " They are taking a long time. And I don't know why.."). They both identified the stamp and let me go. Great surprise arriving home and seeing the letter of approval in the mail pile. Best welcome back gift ever!! Although, I would have appreciate an online update more when knowing that my case was approved even before I left the country.... Now the wait to received the card, but at least I feel so much relief! Good luck to the rest!! Hope you all hear something soon!

04/26/2018 - CSC instructed me to send incorrect GC to the CIS Service Center with a request to expedite service due to Admin Error.

05/16/2018 - Received RECALL letter for wrong GC

05/18/2018 - Follow instructions in RECALL letter for people who already returned their GC to CIS. Instructions were to send an email to specific email address. Received answer on 05/26/2018 and mailed on 05/31/2018

06/25/2018 - Received SECOND GC with STILL WRONG DATE. I called the 800 phone number and instructed me to email uscisspecialcases

09/05/2018 - After following up my emails every 3 weeks, and FINALLY getting hold to my an agent, I was instructed to send the SECOND wrong card to CSC.

Hi, I would love to know as well. I keep watching this forum just to have a response. I really don't want to add 8 more months to the long wait and not get anything till the n-400 is completed. It will be crazy besides the long wait to waste the expensive fees and not getting the green card :angry:

I might be wrong, but I think they had their ROCs actually approved at the N-400 interview, so technically, they're not someone who had the ROC approved with a pending N-400.

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

Correct. Their field office was much quicker and happened to get quick N-400 interview where they adjusted I-751. I have rarely heard a case where I-751 was approved when people apply for N-400 until they get an interview.

Correct. Their field office was much quicker and happened to get quick N-400 interview where they adjusted I-751. I have rarely heard a case where I-751 was approved when people apply for N-400 until they get an interview.  

 

That is also my personal experience. The only difference is that I have yet to be scheduled for the Oath Ceremony even though my husband and I were both interviewed and recommended for approval for both the ROC (interviewed together), and the N-400 (myself only).

 

They told me that something is not working properly with their system and that they cannot physically "approve" the ROC at this moment (I find that hard to believe), but I'm trying to be patient (still being proactive), and hope to be scheduled for one of the sessions this month.

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

But did you get approval letter for your I-751 though?

Not yet...because of "THE SYSTEM"...! LOL

 

The officer interviewing us/me verbally gave us the OK for that portion though. At that point I didn't know of this "system" issue they were (are?!?!) having, so I didn't think much of it. It's only after I inquired back a few days ago as to what is going on that I was made aware of this.

 

I'm moving in different directions (the "being proactive"), and ultimately the Field Office supervisor told me to chill, and that I was lucky to have already had both interviews...

I most certainly will, thanks!

 

My "being in a rush" was that I have an international travel schedule I need to keep up with, and I'll be away for a couple of month starting next month. Other than that, I'm pretty chill with the whole waiting thing (we've been waiting for the ROC for a long time anyway!), and yes, having done BOTH interviews already makes me a tiny bit more relaxed.

 

That being said, I look forward to receiving the update that my Oath Ceremony has been scheduled!
