You do realize the talked to each other right lol. Divorces don't usually end amicably. I've yet to know a man who's ex wife went out of their way for him, especially with a new wife. Unless they benefited. I'm sure they exist but I haven't met any.

  • February 5, 2019   - Printing package;
  • February 11, 2019 - ROC package mailed;
  • February 13, 2019 - Package delivered to Dallas Tx;
  • February 15, 2019 - Credit Card Charged;
  • February 19, 2019 - Electronic Notification Rec'd, Case Location LIN - Nebraska;
  • February 21, 2019 - Received NOA with 18 month extension for wife ONLY, not 14yo dependent who is on application;
  • March 12, 2019      - Notified USCIS that we never rcvd i797 for 14 yo minor, they provided a case # and submitted a Svc Request
  • May 2.2019             -  No forward motion, we called again and despite there was an officer assigned to this service request nothing happened/ no extension. We filed an InfoPass and have an appointment for Monday 6th for passport stamp.
  • May 6, 2019 - Attended InfoPass appointment in Philadelphia local USCIS local office for 930. This was for a never rcvd 797 for our 14yo dependent. Arrived 9:15, not crowded at all. No extra photos or fingerprint taken. We were in the car (lots of parking available) at 945. Pleasant female officer, she updated and checked for no changes. Stamped passport, explained is valid for 1 year. The took the green card which expired 5/4/19. No issues or problems.. I asked about the non receipt and she said it's pretty common.. 
  • August 23 - Biometrics NOA, scheduled for 9/3 @1pm
  • September 3 - Biometrics
  • September 4 -Fingerprint Review was completed
  • January 8 - ROC, Card Being Processed, Citizenship is next!
  • January 15 2020  - Cards Delivered

 

N400 Citizenship :)

It's perfectly within in their rights to not get emotionally or ethically get entangled in your new marriage...blah blah blah...my 11 year old could tell me that!!

I was just telling my situation and what my exes told me they would do and what happened an ask for advice on what to do next...I don't need a psychological explanation and the rights of what a woman and what is required from her.

I am just saying...they both changed their mind today...and they do not talk to each other because one is mexican and one is white and they have met each other 1 time and leave 4 hours apart....they did not go to school together and do not have the same friends.

I am just telling what is going on....and just asking for advice. I don't need a lesson on the psychology of a woman....you have no idea if they have ever seen or talked to each other.

Glad you decided to be there for the interview. Forget the ex wive letters and go with a doctors letter stating that you have been sober for 6 years

and whatever else you can bring as evidence. Your pastor's affidavit (if you have one ) would be ok too.

Biometrics : June 1, 2015 letter received for appointment June 8, 2015, successful walk-in June 1, 2015

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Me and my ex-wife were together 23 years, this november will be 30 years since we first met. When we decided to get married we vowed to each other that if we ever get divorced we will continue to stay close friends. I love her forever, she is family to me still, we divorced due to intimacy issues (and a few other minor issues), our personalities and goals changed. To this day we are still best friends and go out of the way to help each other and ensure we both stay safe, when she comes from los angeles to las vegas for what ever reason (visits, concerts, computer repairs) she sleeps on my couch, we have no relationship strictly treat each other like family. So... Now you have met a man and woman who go out of their way to help each other even after divorce, and she supports my relationship with my fiance, as much as I support her and her fiance. We both willingly signed the divorce papers AND we celebrated together after the divorce decree came in the mail! haha :dancing:

I'm a good guy and shes a great woman, were just not romantically compatible but we are 200% compatible as friends right down to thinking the same and finishing each other sentences, it became time to set each other free and find new partners and now were both happy.

Well then I will say you're a lucky guy...

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
