Hello! I got my NOA2 on August 25th. I just called today and got my tracking number. I was under the impression that NVC would send the case automatically to the Embassy in Nicaragua (my fiance's country), but I saw something with instructions today https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_Visa_Application.html . It seems as though this page is telling me I need to submit more documents. I thought all that needed to happen after the NOA2 was medical appointment and interview?

Can someone please lay out clearly what MY next step is? I don't want to waste time, because I didn't know what I was supposed to do.

Thank you so much!!!

I looks like your link is for immigrant/diversity visas and not the K1 visa which is classified as Non immigrant visa. here's the link for the K1 visa information

After NVC your package goes to the embassy. It takes a little time to show up in the system.

You can check your status here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

Once you have your NVC case number you can do your ds160, pay if you can then schedule you interview, medical etc.
