Why wait to long for the date interview from NVC

I've sent pack 3 around June and wait over 30 days heard back from NVC request police clearance after sent the document.
We get notice received document from NVC on 25 Jul 2016 and It said Please allow 30 days for the NVC review document.
Now It over 30 days and up to 7 weeks I'm still didn't get appointment date for interview.
I've sent email asking the NVC 2 time got the same answer have to wait up to 6 weeks.
Why it very to long just for checking the Police clearance. It should finish right now . shouldn't be long

Have someone get situation like me?

i received notices saying wait 30 days, wait 60 days and wait 30 buisness days

seems this is just a form type letter and you have to wait

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Call them and tell them it has been more than six weeks; ask what the hold up is. They should tell you something besides "you have to wait six weeks" after you tell them you've waited longer than that already. I'm sorry this is happening. I'm also getting held up at NVC.

12/14 Met at work in Rwanda

2/21/15 Became a couple

11/19/15 Married

11/23/15 I left Rwanda 

12/30/15 Mailed I-130

1/06/16 NOA1

5/03/16 NOA2!

5/06/16 NVC received case

5/20/16 Case number assigned

5/23/16 Email from NVC with case number

5/23/16 Choice of Agent filled out, AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/31/16 Called NVC, reviewed I-261 over the phone

6/02/16 IV bill invoiced and paid

7/28/16 Finally! All police clearances and birth certificate received; mailed IV and AOS; filed I-260

8/04/16 Official scan date (tracking shows "delivered" the day before)

8/15/16 Visiting my husband! 10 days

9/01/16 Received checklist in error, claiming our application was on hold because of a waiver application we never filed

9/02/16 Sent for supervisor review, six week timeframe given

9/13/16 Sent for "document review", whatever that is, told the timeframe is now indefinite

9/20/16 Contacted US Representative Adam Smith's office for assistance (WA)

9/26/16 3 N/As and Case Complete!

11/14/16 Interview: approved pending medical! (Vaccines hadn't been available)

11/19/16 Visa received in passport

12/09/16 POE Seattle

03/06/17 Green card received (address changed after POE, no problem)

5/2017 Our baby is due

Im sorry to hear that,

We are in a most similar situation. Our RFE was just the outdated version of I-864 that my hubby filled and it slipped both our our eyes to see that the date was an old date on the form. We have to download the new form of AOS with current version/date and send it back. Guess what???? Email received by us from NVC reads ALLOW 30 DAYS for review. When my hubby called just to check how things were going, the reps told him; it will take 6 weeks :cry: :cry: :cry: .

This is quite confusing. Why would they send you an email stating 30 days but the reps in office tells you 6 weeks???? :crying: :crying: :crying:

BTW our second scan date was 09/02/2016 and the first one was 08/04/2016 where our daughter's case completed on 08/30/2016.

I keep praying that they will just review the date and complete my case.

09/02/2016 - 2nd Scan Date

10/17/2016 - 2nd Case Complete (IR-1)

11/07-10th/2016 - Medical x 2

11/12/2016 - Medical extended 3 days more due to sputum & smear (6-8 weeks to get results :cry:) x 1

01/26/2017 - Medical results received at Embassy (10 weeks 4 days)

01/27/2017 - Visa Issued

01/31/2017 - Visa On Hand
