Interracial K-1s attract scrutiny in India, esp Delhi, but Mumbai too, with several flags here; prev marriage, muslim, age diff, etc. Worst-case scenario, if this gets denied, there's the spousal visa route others have taken. But people do get visas, wait till next week to find out as there is hope still.

How do you not comment? Do you just say "I don't have a comment on that "? Only curious because I'm trying to prep my fiancé for our interview and I didn't know this could also be done like if he doesn't remember something

That is not what was meant by mimolicious. If your fiance says " I do not have a comment on that" in Ghana he will be

denied. Mimolicious meant that if a poster is not sure how to answer the OP they should not comment at all in order

not to confuse the OP.

OP, you have to wait until they contact you, you are in AP for now and nothing points to the return of your petition

from what you posted at this time. AP can last days, weeks and months. If it lasts more than a few weeks email them

as to your case status.

It looks like your relationship went really quick... if you only met in November... and then applied a month after meeting for the first time. That seems super quick. They may just need to look into it further and such.

I have read about the interracial issue ....but the funny thing is we are going to live in America and that is generally not an issue here....ohhh he is not Muslim we are both Christian but my ex-husband was Muslim.....Thanks for the encouragement!

He has to get past the embassy where these 'issues' have a funny way of occasionally playing spoiler.
