My case is in transit from the NVC! :)

Good. I noticed that you got you case number on 4th and your case is out on 7th. I got mine on the 3rd and it's still with NVC. As long as it's out this week, I will be happy.

Good luck to everyone! I have my fingers crossed that the NVC speeds things up for yall!

So I called the NVC today and got my case number. I then go to non-immigrat status at department of state and it says it's invalid. Do I need to wait longer or is this not really a case number? It starts with MOS.

I also got an invoice ID. what is that for?

Is there anything I could be doing now proactively?

i wanted to ask tax return wise , tax return 2016 will not be required till april correct , so any person having a interview before April should be sufficient with a 2015 tax return , am i right about this? so then ppl interviewing in april and after will haveto obtain the 2016 tax return

I am taking a 2015 Tax return, last 6 pay statements, and a letter from my employer stating I have full time employment and what my base salary is. I think that is plenty to prove income. I'll post how it goes in December.

After being on hold for more than 40 minutes with NVC they confirmed to me once again today that they have not received our approved petition. Will try calling them again tomorrow. For those who just got recently approved I suggest to not even call NVC until it has been more than three weeks since the approval date. They are surely backlogged and are short staffed.

Striker, as per the I-134 instructions, you only need to provide the previous years tax return if you are self employed. Are you self-employed?
