Would you happen to know who is the developer of visajourney.com?

Yet, you provided them with your name, location, email, password (that most of the people reusing the same password for many logins) and VJ "developers" able to see your IP which in 2017 can pretty much be equal to your exact address (unless you are using a lot of professional software to hide/change your IP)...

Security is important, but lets not make it to the point where it is in the way of convenience.

Hackers don't want our case numbers.... I can barely even look at my own, have been staring at it for over a year now.

For me this app brings a little calm to my anxiety... everyday I check 500 cases around mine and everyday I see changes... one by one applications being approved. I personally very grateful that this app exist and even free.

I am sorry for going so far away from what this forum intended to be, but I also wanted to mention that to publish application in the apple app store you have to go through a lot of checks, and apple will look at the code to see what the app is doing and what information it is collecting. It is not easy at all to get your app trough all the checks. With this in mind, there is no other way to install anything on your apple device rather than "breaking" it illegally which has to be done by owner of the device... so if you installing it like any person would from app store, you are 100% safe.

I cannot comment regarding android devices, because I don't have experience with them, but something tells me that it goes through very similar security checks.

I understand that you don't want to use it, but please don't confuse people by saying that it is not safe, because it is absolutely not true.

I dont response to these kind of questions, evaluate your questions and you should know what's the answer. Maybe you should attend some IT security training so you would know what I'm trying to point out.

So I just called USCIS on my pending case. My NOA 1 date is September 23. And application is still pending at VSC.

Apparently the VSC is still processing Aug 15 cases.....so no further updates. The Tier 2 officer was also useless....he just asked me to get an informed appt for an extension....which I already got.

They could not answer why some cases from Sep are latest approved.

Anyhow...it's still a waiting game for me.

Do you guys recommend filing for citizenship or waiting for an official approval?

I would definitely go for citizenship if you're eligible and  so inclined.  I would try a service request, if it allows you to do one, before contacting a senator, although you're still in processing times according to their processing times, so I doubt there is much you can do about it. I'm sure you will get news very, very shortly.

I would recommend USPS informed service to you, so you can see what is coming in your mail (if you don't already have it) and then you don't miss your approval or interview or rfe or whatever happens with your case.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Just wanted to provide a quick update on my case. My extension letter/GC expires on 10/22 and I have to travel for work on 11/03 so I was worried about being able to come back in the country legally. For that reason, on 09/23 I went and scheduled an infopass appointment for today. Since I recently moved, I wanted to make sure that they have my correct address on file so I called to check on my case on 09/29 and the tier 2 officer told me that they have the correct address on file and that my case is still pending.

Late last week, I finally received an approval letter dated 09/29 (the date that I called). The officer either didn't want to tell me the change or their system was slow to updated (I called around 5PM EST). However, since I am traveling in 2.5 weeks and I already took PTO - I decided not to risk and worry whether my GC will come on time. I went to the NJ office and they stamped my passport - no problem. They said that they know that sometimes it takes a while for GC to come in mail so she was happy to give me a stamp for a year.

I am a VSC filer.

Based on other members' experience, Tier 2 support agents either do not see the approval status (unlikely) or are not permitted to disclose it over the phone. There's a recent example in the October 2016 files thread, the member spoke to a tier 2 agent after the approval date listed on their letter and the agent did not give any indication that the CRI-89/I751 was approved.

Wow, guys! USCIS goes paperless

As I posted before: my NOA1 date is September 20, called USCIS two weeks ago, talked to Tier 2 officer, left her my contacts (phone, e-mail, address), was told I get a note about my case within 2 week window.

So. Exactly two weeks later I have received an e-mail saying "Your Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) is currently under officer review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action within the next 60 days."

Not so helpful, but at least they do reply to inquiries within stated time-frame.

Went to Orlando for my infopass stamp in my Passport because the one year extension was going to expire a few days before we leave on a cruise in November.

My appointment was for 8:00 am and we arrived about 20 minutes early. We were leaving with everything completed at 8:04 am.

I was surprised that the agent kept my green card and my original I-751 Receipt Notice. I didn't remember anyone mentioning that they did that.

No problem though. The stamp says: "Upon endorsement, serves as temporary I-751 evidencing permanent residence for one year." It also says COA:CR1 Followed by my A# and Pending I-751. I have no idea what COA means. I know CR1 is spousal visa.

As far as I know, usually they do take green card, rarely they don't. Seems it is at the officer's discretion - keep the expiring GC/extension documents or give it back to you together with the stamp.

COA stands for Class of Admission; CR1 - for Conditional Residence (type 1, i.e. LPR based on the marriage to US citizen).

I had my appointment earlier this week and they gave me back all my paperwork including the greencard. It probably is at the officer's discretion.

Hi guys! Just an update of my husband case status. After 16 days of the approval notice- i751 ROC, finally today they made the update of "new card is being produced". For those who have already received the GC can you tell me how long  it takes to send it? Thanks😃
