Forgot to include photocopy of green card in RoC—send it as soon as I receive NoA?

Last week I sent off the I-751 Removal of Conditions application to the USIC Vermont Service Center. In focusing so much on the instructions that list types of documents to demonstrate evidence of the relationship, I neglected to include the required photocopy of my wife's conditional permanent resident card.

I searched the VisaJourney forums and saw lots of threads with this question, but no actual follow-up. In my case, the USPS tracking number confirmed that the package was received and the check has been cashed. The next step should be receiving a Notice of Action soon. Should I wait until I receive the NoA, then send in the photocopy of the green card with a cover letter and the case/receipt number? Should I not do that but rather wait for a potential RFE?

Thanks for any guidance on this!

They could have bounced the whole package back to you, but since they cashed the cheque they're obviously planning to process it. They'll ask you for it.

I think it's funny that they want a photocopy, anyway - don't those guys know what it says? :rolleyes:

I know right, but ... and just speculating here... maybe they use it as a small bit of evidence that you are still physically in possession of the green card? (which is a lawful requirement)

You might have photocopied it before, and not have it in your possession now? It's not like they photocopy it next to a copy of today's paper. ;)
