Hmm Why did she get a bio letter. Kids under 14 dont need the bio...

Not sure why we got a bio letter for the child. I was under the impression they didn't do biometrics on under 14 as well. We will inquire when we go to the appointment. I thought I may have made a mistake on the birthdate on the forms so I double checked and the birthdate is correct. So at this point I do not have an explanation for it.

We did not pay a biometrics fee for her. Could be a mistake on USCIS part. They made a few minor mistakes we had to get corrected for the K1. Luckily none of it slowed the process. But it did drive home the need to double check and question everything that does not look right.

Yes you I can I used that for "proof of legal status"... most people use there I-94 (mine was expired so I couldn't) but your NOA from your I-485 can also be used... I know each state slight varies but I also needed my EAD and a recent bank statement aswell as the I-485 NOA to apply for a license Edited by Moslund

Notice of action and driving license

Thanks guys for all advice and guidance I had already submitted my package and got all receipts with me . I already received the hard copy of notice of action . My question is can I have a driving license in Washington, D.C. With just a notice of action from immigration??

If your form 1-94 (if you have) is not yet expiring, you can get a license. However, if its expiring or already expired, you need to wait for your EAD to arrive before you can apply for a license.

AOS sent 8/20 still no response.. commenting to follow.

Be patient. It will come soon :goofy:
