Rob, I have seen far too many of your posts to believe you are truly so naive as to exculpate Hillary like this. I know, I know, ALL politicians lie. Bush, Obama, Clinton, et. Al. But Hillary takes it to a new level. Ever since her perjury during Watergate, it has only gotten worse.

As for the bold part, people get fired and lose their security clearances each and every year, possibly every month, for being "careless" with classified data. It is no joke. For those who have never signed documents prior to handling secret documents, it is a daunting and scary affair. You KNOW in no uncertain terms that if you EVER allow a bit of classified data to be copied, held, transferred, or even VIEWED on a non-classified data system (such as a private email server), you are likely headed to jail. Plain and simple. Yes, she lied about it. Multiple times. In public. On national TV. "Lack of intent" is nowhere in the US code for the handling of classified material. She should have her security clearance revoked and lose her job, at a minimum. Perhaps even go to jail. Just for DOING it. The act of lying about it in an attempt to cover it up, now that's a whole different level of illegal activity.

as far as lying l most of this gets down to knowledge and intent. There is no perjury...There definately were falsehoods...I dont think we can prove lying...but knock yourself out.

By the way Poltifact found more than 10 falsehoods in Trumps famous Hillary as a world class liar speech. Not sure I want to call him a world class liar ...but I dont trust him to tell the truth.

Second point

The truth matters, I don't think Melania wrote this, but on a night when we were told that the rule of law and order must be restored, this faux pas must be acknowledged and dealt with. There was no English teacher on the planet who would not see this as plain , straight up, black and white plagiarism. This matters until it is dealt with, hiding will not work, Melania will not be a force for good for the campaign or the country until this is dealt with.

This reflects less on Melania and more on the incompetence and moral compass of the Trump campaign.

I remember it well. I actually liked Biden as a Senator at the time but lost all respect for him after that incident. Yes it caused him to drop out of the race for the presidency at the time, but the whole affair was completely forgotten by the "lamestream media" when Obummer selected him to be his running mate in 2008. Even my Democrat friends were unaware of these charges in 2008.

Sorry, but plagiarism does not expire with time. You cannot undo it. He was definitely given a pass this time by the media and Democrats.
