We contacted the Senator office first week of April and they said my case was sent to an extended review (don't really know what it means) and contact them back in 60 days. Last week we did another inquiry and the respond from USCIS was "(USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time."

I'm not sure if I may have missed if you answered this, but did you do a Tier 2 inquiry? Back in February I did a phone request inquiry as why it was taking to long to complete our application.

No, we didn't. What is Tier 2 inquiry? Actually, we did phone inquiry but don't know if the Tier 2 inquiry is same thing or something different.

Tier 2 starts with the standard call to USCIS. Tier 2 agents have access to more information about your case than the call center agents. After the call center agent gives the general information about your case tell them you want to speak to a Tier 2 agent. If you don't ask to speak to a Tier 2 then call center agent will not transfer you.

If the Tier 2's are not on other calls then you will be able to speak to one. You can also ask them to submit an inquiry if your not satisfied with their response.  If the Tier 2's are busy then you will be asked if you want an agent to call you back. Say yes and follow the prompts and leave a US phone number. I don't know if they will call back international numbers. A Tier 2 agent will call you back within the timeframe given. Most of the Tier 2 agents that I have spoken to have been very helpful but I have had 1 or 2 that weren't as helpful.

Call on Tuesday. Good luck.

Just a check in. I filed July 6, 2016. Case was approved by USCIS March 26th, 2017. Case was sent to NVC end of March, early April. Did the fees and IV Package, mailed out June 26th and case has been deemed complete by NVC. Not sure of the specific date but I called yesterday and they confirmed it. Wife and I are now waiting on an interview date 🤗.

Good Luck to everyone still waiting. It's a long process and has been for me as well but it'll happen 💜
