My wife and I met while she and I were working at a summer camp in the states and for me, it was love at first sight. She was oblivious to the fact that I liked her and when I told her, of course it was a shock. Initially, she wasn't interested in me the same way I was in her but we were super close - always hung out, always together. After that summer, she went off to travel the states for three weeks and during that time, thats when she realized that it was definitely something more. We spoke everyday she was gone and she even spent hundreds to extend her flight for an extra week so she could be here for my birthday. The day she left was simply the hardest, but it was then I knew we would never part. When she returned home, the first Skype call she made was never the last - we've been together ever since.

  1. UPDATE!!! - my wife wrote a few strong worded letters and emails to various people and departments. She ended up getting a call from someone located in Washington D.C. whom received her letter and after explaining, yet again, the issues that arose, she informed my wife that she would contact the Maryland office to take jurisdiction over the case. We never heard from them but as of: June 14th, a new card was ordered (I-751) June 14th, case was reopened and they were reconsidering their decision. June 16th, they approved the I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. June 17th, Card was mailed. NO INTERVIEW NEEDED as they had stated before...🙌 I-751 APPROVED!! Card is in the mail today! 🥰 Good Luck to Everyone still in the process.
  2. Thank you, writing the ombudsman as we speak. spoke with a their 2 a few weeks back and they weren't much of any help. He told us the denial order was being processed and he said to send a letter to NY asking them to cancel the order and send case to MD as they missed the change of address. we did that and it was obviously missed.
  3. It seems there only concern is about gullible moments of the Ukraine saga.I feel for you I really do.I hope things work out for you.

  4. Sorry about your denial. Here in America you're dealing with a bunch of low intelligent people that's running government right now and especially USCIS.I would say talk to an attorney.

  5. Hi, so my wife and I moved from NY to MD last summer and when we filed our 751 we were still in NY. When we moved, we did a changed of address that was NEVER picked up by USCIS and by the time my wife finally got her interview letter (back in April), they scheduled it for for 4/8/22 IN NY instead of MD. We were not able to take off of work to go. We called USCIS and they told her not to go and someone will call back to schedule a new appointment and also get her an appointment in MD to get a stamp renewal allowing her to work since that was expiring too. Now, because she didn't show up, by way of the USCIS officers instructions, the visa has been DENIED and we have to spend money to appeal (Form I-290B) when it wasn't our fault. What can we do? The letter states that we have to provide evidence that it is LEGALLY their fault. They also sent us a letter saying the address has finally been changed and yet the sent the denial letter to the NY address AGAIN. This is insane. Change of address sent last year July. They never picked it up. USCIS officer told us not to attend and someone will get back to us with a new date The letter they sent is not even dated AND it was sent to the old address even after getting a letter stating the address was updated. Please HELP!!
