I just went on USCIS website to check because I haven't done that today and read this "On October 23, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number". Omg! It's been 4 weeks since my interview. Hope you hear back from them soon too!

I was going to wait few more weeks and schedule an infopass.

Good Morning Everyone,

    On Friday October 20th,  I received a text and email notification that there was an update on my case.  I have been approved and my new card is in production.  So basically 15 months to the day since they received my I751 case in CSC.  Now we are just waiting for it in the  mail.  I am glad this part of the process is over and we can move on to the next.  Thanks for everyone's input and good luck to those who are still waiting for things are moving and it will happen.  Cheers!

FYI our I-751 case was approved for card production last Thursday 19 November (as I posted above earlier), then yesterday, Monday October 23rd we received (1) the approval letter by US mail and (2) at 6 PM an email notification that the card has been mailed.  Now we wait for the mail to arrive...

I apologize that I have not been active on here in quite some time. I was really frustrated with the backlog and just needed a break from it all.

 

Hubby's case was approved 10/11 and the card was sent 10/13. He got it in hand 10/19. :)

 

I was also very confused by the new people added to CSC at the top who sent it off in June?? Whatevs. haha

I put in a service request last week when the processing date was at july 19th and then called tier 2 at USCIS...I think that helped me get a response.

I think the June filers put themselves in July because their applications didn't actually arrive at CSC until July.

No, you're not the only one, there have been a few, we just haven't been keeping track of them on the list. 

 

Did they give you specifics of what they were looking for? Often there are some suggestions in the RFE notice.

 

Either way, just bury them in paper, if you can - every joint bank/credit card statement, every bill with both your names on it, your (presumably joint) 2016 tax returns, pictures of the two of you together, affidavits from people who know you as a couple (especially professional people like teachers, pastors, lawyers, doctors, etc), updated medical insurance, car titles, leases/mortgage etc.....

 

If you really believe you sent everything, remember that over a year has gone by since you filed; so you might as well send all the same stuff from the past year that you sent before. 

 

The only wrong way to handle this is to be late in sending a response. At this point, worst case scenario you'll get an interview and  you can prove you're "really married" in person. 

 

At least they have your correct address - based on the threads today, that should be a big relief!
