@Zombie69 At this point one of the positive thing is that almost 90% of June CSC VJ applicants have been approved. Hopefully, July-2016 CSC applicants would be processed quicker similar to July, August and September-2016 VSC applicants. Goodluck to everyone.

Yes, from your mouth to god's ear. I talked to a second tier immigration officer yesterday, and she gave me a reference number and told me i would hear something from them by the end of October, I hope she was right, but i am still taking what she told me with a grain of salt. Fingers crossed.

That's a very good question.

We know from other posts that CSC is sending I-751 applications to a 'remote storage location'. Why would one or two files not make it to that location, jump to the front of the queue and land on the top of the pile on the adjudicator's desk?

Make an appointment at your local office to get an I-551 stamp in your passport. Take your driving licence, passport, expired green card and extension letter with you.

Remember, you are good until the expiry date on your green card, plus one year. The date of the extension letter is irrelevant.

Am I required to get my passport an I 551 stamp if I do not need to travel? Thank you in advance!

Actually I have heard you don't really need 551 if you are not travelinb, but I would still get it just in case. Easy enough to get your passport stamped and also it is your the proof of your extended conditional green card.

Don't have an extension letter as we never received it, had to do the whole Info Pass thing to get a stamp last year, so frustrating.

Hi guys, I am from September group thread (CSC) .  Equally frustrated about this long hold, came in here to see if you guys have gotten it by now or not.  Most September VSC filers have gotten it but for CSC, we all stuck.  Good luck to you guys and good luck to the Septembabys.

It is old news unfortunately, VSC has been approving 751 applications with the normal speed, it is CSC that has been unprecedentedlu delayed.

Thank you for the answer. I tried to have the i551 stamp twice before. The officers in my state field office kept saying that they need a proof of travel arrangement or business request to give me a stamp. I am little confused if I need the stamp or not.
