It is very frustrating. I filed mine last August. Looks like we are going to keep seeing what the latest updates suggest. I have a feeling we might have to wait for another 4 to 5 months...

My file has been transferred as of 2/22 to California from Vermont.

What are the details of this, PEEKABOO561? Is this because you moved or did you find out of the blue? Did you get a transfer notice? Why has this happened?

Thanks!!! Sounds like VSC are transferring cases to CSC then. I'll start a new thread to ask if anybody else has experienced this recently.

Most likely explains why there has been a delay in CSC adjudications.

CSC has been stuck on May applications for 4.5 months (since November 2016).

From the look of things, they won't be getting to June probably until April or May.

They may get to July applications in June or July. We're all in for a long ride. sad!

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

Possibly. What is astonishing is the fact that VSC is currently processing way faster than CSC, so what's the logic with this transfer?? Bury CSC even deeper? Also, if CSC actually starts adjudicating June applications in April/May like you suggested, and the existing pattern continues (considering they are on May for 4 months now), it could hypothetically take us till Aug/Sep to be processed. I hope to God I'm just digressing here and none of this actually happen. But then Ive been hoping for so long now that Im actually starting to get worried. Sad indeed,

I think at one point, CSC will also pick up and approving 1 month cases every month because if not so, CSC will be backlogged pretty severely if they go in same order. In another boat, VSC has been processing applications pretty fast and based on VJ data, we can say that they are roughly taking around 13 months (majority of FEB 16 files are approved).

But 6 months for CSC now sounds like a myth. I would be happy even if I get approval in 10 months (I'm a NOV filer).

I spoke to a tier two immigration officer a few weeks back who told me that CSC have fallen from 6 months processing time to 9-10 month processing time in the last few months so I'm unsure why they are taking on more cases. I filed on May 6th 2016 and finally got approved on Friday, March 3rd. I was 3 days short of 10 months.

My assumption is based on TYorke1 and the current Vermont cases transferring to CSC, People who filed in July will have a total processing time of 12 months (Minimum) if not more. I did see some 4th week May filers cases have also been approved. So its safe to say for July 2016 filer it will be Close to June July before we hear anything. Its disappointing but looks like thats the reality. I leave to India in May for couple of weeks and will be bringing my parents with me who are traveling under B1/B2 for 1 month. I am sure the Border security will be asking me few more additional question as I would be showing them the letter we got from USCIS rather than a Actual Green card.

I hope they add extra resources to get this through the CSC July Filers, however with VSC in the way now July 2017 seems to be a logical time for getting our approvals.

What cases being transferred? I've only heard of one case that has been transferred. Do you know of more?

There is no point of guessing. Let's wait for uscis to update there website

USCIS updates are not reliable.

No guessing here. One filer received a mail of his case being transferred. Definitely, not his case only.
