A quick update on my case:

My EAD status got updated today to “card is being produced” (NOA dated July 14). I understand that from there it has taken few (4-5) business days for some to get the EAD card in the mail, and several weeks for others. I also understand that the status will change to "card was approved” and then “card was mailed”. As recommended by one poster I registered to USPS free service to receive notification of tracked mails sent to my address.

My AOS status remains at “RFE response has been received and USCIS started working on your case again”. NOA on AOS is also July 14

Update on my case:

- My EAD online status changed to "card has been approved" on Sep 16 and "card was mailed" on Sep 22. I received the approval letter on Sep 23 but not the card yet.

- My AOS status remains the same.

I found this forum last night because I could not sleep since an anxiety of waiting for any progress on EAD.

I have a similar to A&K0608 dates of filing and processing times.

I have a job offer and I am willing to start working ASAP and it is so discouraging to see on updates on the case for a long time and not have any idea of when it will be updated.

Anyone in California (Bay Area) who filed mid July and received EAD already?

EAD/AP both approved. No email notifications. EAD went from card is being produced to case approved.

Congrats! I'm still waiting for my EAD to come in the mail! Has anyone had the notification about tracking the EAD card at all? Mines still on "we mailed your card"

I never got a tracking number or any notification after the card was mailed. It arrived in my mailbox 3 days later.

How long did it take to change from "New Card Is Being Produced" to "Approved"? My EAD changed yesterday to "New Card Is Being Produced", but did not change yet to approved. I read on the forum that it usually changes to "Approved" on the same day. My AP is still on "Case was Received".

Wow, you are right we do have similar timelines. This morning I got an updtae that I am scheduled for interview on Nov. 2 which is good news!! However I have no update with my EAD yet, also my AP shows Case is approved as of Sept 22. It didn't go to card being produced or whatever... Good luck!

I have been at the USCIS office on September 15th, and a lady was surprised that the case got to the status of scheduling an interview so quickly. But it was not scheduled yet. She told that scheduling might take up to 60 days. So she told me to come back in November if I will not get any updates.

But anyway my concern for now is EAD. I really need to start working ASAP.

So I called to CIS National Customer Service Line and filed a service request to expedite my EAD since I am really worried that my employer will not wait for me for a very long time. I should get a response on that by October 3, hopefully.

It changed the same day. Card being produced to case approved within few hours, and in the evening, AP changed to case approved. AOS still RFIE rec'd since 9/3

I'm still waiting for the EAD card to come, I'm hoping it'll come by the end of the week as I'm out of town most of next week! Hope everyone gets updates/cards in the mail soon!

I got my Combo EAD today. It is exactly 10 days to receive my card. I also pass the learning test. Thing are moving along now. Now I'm continue waiting for interview to be scheduled. Good luck everyone

You already have interview schedule, right? Mine is 10/25.

I think most of us received the card. You can call USCIS to expedite the EAD processing since you already have a job offer.

Received the hard copy notice for my EAD and AP approval today. Fingers crossed that the combination card will be sent out soon.

For those who have received their cards how long did it take to receive it from the date of receiving the approval?

Did anyone else who has their EAD cards recieve the status update about it being picked up by USPS? I haven't Recieved it but just wondered if anyone has? Also am I meant to be counting the days since approval or when it changed to card mailed?
