so the absense of my middle name in my passport while i have it in my birth seems nothing to worry about? im worried if they will still ask me to correct my birth or my passport and gives a year of delay when doing that. The peepz been telling me that it should be in accurate i mean all the docs requirent should have the same infos with it. just freaking worries me :(

The embassy can't require that you modify your birth certificate, you will carry your birth certificate your whole life with added mention into it (at least in france is like this) when you marry, if you divorce ans so on. Your story is straight and what was autorized on your birth certificate is not on your passport, and your passport is the most important ID that you have, if they allow, and by law, not to have the middle name on your passport i do not see why it would be an issue with the embassy. I personnaly have 3 first name and not all my admin papers shows them, dont worry really, hope you can get more professional advise to reassure you, good luck

I called NVC they said they haven't received the case and that it usually takes them 6 weeks to get it ? Anything I can do while waiting?

Agree with everyone, thats the standard answer, keep calling, a couple time a day if it makes you feel better, it will come soon, good luck

Hello Everyone. We mailed our packet on June 2 nd. Still have not received anything. Lol, I am sure it is probably too early. I just want to make sure that they received. Good luck to all filers.

Hi BI Arn,

How your interview went?

Keep us posted please.

My fiancé is waiting for her interview at the same embassy.

Best,

Jesus Christ is Lord.

Hi everyone.

I am really hoping someone will be able to help me.. I am using a co sponsor for the i-134 affidavit of support as I have been living and working overseas and have no US income.

My sponsor has recently left his job where he had been working for quite some time. He had to take time off work work for surgery so he was not working. He has payslips from his previous job where he left in June, already showing he has made 25k YTD. he also has last two years tax returns/W2s which show he has made 47k both years. so over the requirements.

He now has a new job but it is not salary, nor hourly. He gets paid for how many 'jobs' he takes. So the employment letter will not show salary, it will probably show 'this is how much he will make if he works so and so amount, meaning an average salary of xxxxx' He was planning on writing a letter saying he will promise to work x amount of hours in order to support my fiance. Do you think this will be enough? He only has one payslip from them as he hasn't been working much as he is recovering still but will be better soon. He also has already made 25k year to date, will they take this into account also? because that is already over the requirement?

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated as our interview is coming up in Sydney soon and I am freaking out.

I just sent an email to NVC to report the clinic medical center of Abidan. The doctor have asked to my fiancé to naked herself before to make the check up. He open her legs and viewed her private.

The guy for chest x-Ray forced her to stay only with her underwear to go through the process. And at this end he made indecent proposal to her.

I swear God I won't miss these doctors. It was just sexual harassment and porn activities.

I will report them on Monday at the embassy.

Non sense doctors.

They will feel my anger.

Are you stupid?

Of course they asked her to do part of the medical exam naked - IT IS A FULL MEDICAL.

And yes, of course they looked at her "private parts" - IT IS A FULL MEDICAL TO CHECK FOR COMMUNICABLE/SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES.

I don't think anything they did was porn or sexual harassment.........

I will put mine I guess. I do not officially have a visa yet as I am waiting for medical. I am hoping to fly back with him after his christmas trip (around January). I said, If I am moving I want one christmas here with you and my family (as I have a new little nephew) and then I move :D

I'll give you more than just that my friend! So right now I just scheduled my interview appointment so I have some info for you:

1 - Yep so far I've only recieved my Electronic pack 3 it's nothing special, just some instructions on how to proceed.

2 - After filling for the ds 160 your fiance will have to register at another website provided in the email, if she previously applied for a tourist visa and got refused that's okay, when you apply for the k1 interview schedule you can just sign in with the previous information that she used there will be something like an "Active" tab with the information on the last application click that and go to the bottom of the page there will be a swich IV NIV, if its marked NIV you just need to click it, you will then have a similar website but the main color becomes green so by there you'll be able to apply for the k1 interview

3 - I don't know how it works on other countries, but here you'll be able to choose the date of the interview, note that K1 visas are only dealt with on tuesdays and the dates we were able to schedule for were NOV 8 and 22. That might change in the future but it's a good start point :)

I hope that this info was useful to you, Good luck to all of us! Stay positive!

In Australia, the consulate gives you an interview date. I had managed to get it scheduled on the same day as my medical. There are only 3 doctors in Sydney who can perform the medical. One is on holidays, at the time of my booking, the 2nd doctor was booked up until October and the 3rd Doctor was available. When finding out about the same day, they put me in the nearest possible time which was the next day. Basically, I was not issued my visa right away and it will probably be delayed around a week or two. It would have been much more convienent to have had it before. I will not complain though. I just have to hope it all comes before my trip to Bali for my uncles birthday (which it should). The whole process was fairly painless and the Dr I saw here in Sydney was great!

I have one question that is killing me... I don't have a ring yet, but we have been in a relationship for almost 4years and you easily can see it in our photos how we have changed hahahah... Do you think that could be a problem?.
